Same food, mediocre bar with a rage staff that would rather be somewhere else. The place itself is a good size and mostly clean but some of the carpeted area could use a cleaning, the staff could definitely benefit from a couple classes in etiquette and behavior as they make it obvious that they hate their jobs, no one smiles and asking for a drink is awkward when it's an open bar as they keep staring at you and the tip jar waiting to see if you will tip them or not, I tend to tip a buck every time I go to the bar which is often so I'll leave 20-30 dollars everytime I'm here and I still feel judged the couple times I go up and don't tip because I forget my wallet at my table or I don't have change, I over heard the bald gentleman say what a cheap a** when a guy got 2 cranberry vodkas (cheap cheap vodka) and dropped a dollar in the jar that's uncalled for and disrespectful he was not obligated to tip at all he did it because he's a good person and everyone has a different financial situation he should not be called any names. Will not be tipping the bar workers anymore at this place. Also the lady that works the room is very sweet she makes sure everything is running smooth and every guest is happy she's constantly running and keeping things afloat looks like she could use a little help but overall she is wonderful smiles, answer's any question, helps with seating, directs people to the buffet bar, just overall a very pleasant person to be around. She is the only reason this was 3 stars...
Read moreWe scheduled a funeral luncheon for my brother who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 29th in a tragic accident. I spoke to Greg and scheduled the plans to hold our luncheon after the funeral on Thursday, June 2nd. We took a credit card to pay our balance upon arrival. Once there, we were informed that they only take cash or check for payment. While Greg did inform me of this when making the plans, in the midst of the sadness, despair, and chaos, I must have forgotten. I asked the lady if they could hold the card until Friday, June 3d when we could return with a check. She said she would speak to Greg, and then returned with an answer of no. I then asked if we could hold our luncheon and return with the check at the end of the luncheon, around 5 PM. Again, the answer was no. We then were trying to find a friend at the luncheon who could help us out. In the meantime, they refused to allow any more people into the hall until they received their check. To me, this is not how you treat a customer, especially someone who is grieving the loss of their brother, son, father, and friend. It only worsened what we were going through, due to their complete and total lack of compassion for our forgetfulness in our...
Read moreI have booked Andres 6 times in the past and each time they happily took my money and offered their services. On August 8th I booked my sons first birthday for mid November, after about two weeks of booking my event I had a health emergency and had to cancel my event. I contacted Greg Bresler who is a coordinator and explained to him my situation. He said this would have to go infront of a committee and I’d get a answer. Within a week I received a letter saying I would not get my deposit back since it was cancelled. I am so disappointed in this business because I have spent so much money with them and for them to not even hear my situation out or make a exception under the circumstances. I have openly let John (venue manager) know that I will write my experience with them this time. And he has threatened me saying and I quote “if you slander us or write anything bad it’s gonna get really really bad for you” who says that to their customer? No compassion or concern about their customers or their situations. He called me a dramatic little girl because I was upset they are refusing to give my $500 deposit back for a service that was...
