Folks in the area have been anticipating the opening of the new Panda Express. This week, I received a postcard in the mail with discounts and thought to try the location for lunch. I got to the location at 11:35am. It appeared to be drive-through service only, no inside counter service. So I got in line. At that time the line was about half-way around the building. The drive-through line moved agonizingly slowly. The time stamp on my delivered order was 12:12pm. But, that is when they printed the ticket and told me they were waiting on one of the entrees. I didn't drive away for another 5 minutes. The drive-through line, at that time was wrapped completely around the building. Either the location opened too soon for the staff to be trained; was under-staffed; or both.
I got home to eat my Black Pepper Angus Steak and was disappointed to see that it didn't look like the picture...at all. There was NO red bell pepper. There was one small broccoli floret, one chunky broccoli stem and two or three little stems. The beef was not cut to any kind of uniform size. One chunk of beef was about the size of a chicken thigh with gristle and connective tissue. I will never order that again. I hope that the Kung Pao Chicken that I put in the fridge for lunch in a day or two was prepared better.
I have had Panda Express from other locations before and had not had any previous issue with service speed or the quality of the meal. I am hoping that today's miserable experience is just part of the new location jitters. But, I am not using my other coupon for this location. I will stick to Chinese take-out from my...
Read moreCame in on a weeknight for dinner. No line or anybody in the restaurant.
Immediately after I started interacting with the employee who served me, it was clear the employees at this restaurant have been failed miserably by management.
No white rice. No brown rice. Maybe 3 or 4 entrees, the rest are out.
I ask for a regular plate (2 entrees). I’ll have fried rice, even though I wanted white and they’re out.
Dine-in? Sorry, I’m giving you a togo container. We’re out of plates.
The employee starts plopping down scoops of orange chicken without me even saying anything about an entree. She doesn’t ask what I want or take any interest in it. She is serving me Orange Chicken.
I try to tell her, I didn’t ask for it. She starts scooping orange chicken back into the serving bowl for other customers. I feel bad and say it’s fine, just give me orange chicken for one of the entrees. I get broccoli beef for the second.
We get to the register. She says, I’m going to charge you for a bigger plate. Why? Because she started scooping chicken when I didn’t say anything? I tell her, that’s ridiculous. She realizes this and charges me the regular plate price.
Whoever is training these people should be fired immediately. The floor manager was slacking big time. I’ll never go back to this location, ever. I recommend...
Read moreIf I could give this review 0 stars I would. The staff are always extremely unprofessional and rude to the customers. You’ll pay an up charge for the angus beef steak and they try and hide the fact they didn’t give you a full scoop of it, by putting it underneath the other protein you order. Then SURPRISE no steak at all. Literally 6 mushrooms, tons of sauce and a few other veggies. Then they try to force you to overpay because they don’t have change. But when you refuse to just give away money to them that is not owed, the lady at the register will try and convince you it’s your fault that they can’t break a 20. Not only should she be fired for how she speaks to and treats customers, but this establishment needs an entire overhaul. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this piss poor behavior go unnoticed, forcing their customers to donate money to them because they don’t have their registers properly stocked with change that will be needed before the beginning of every shift, and for charging their customers extra for food they didn’t give...
