Brought my iPad mini 2 in for a button repair. I was over charged from the original price quote and still waiting for refund to go through after 8 days. Had a problem with the top of the screen having a "dead spot" . Brought ito in again to have that fixed and then having more problems with lines on the screen and other issues on this past Thursday. Was told I would get a call with an update. No phone call. On Saturday I called and no one answered.Ā On Monday around 12 pm I called asking for an update and the employee was referencing the button issue, and that it seemed to be fixed. I asked if there was someone there who could update me? He said no. I asked if I could talk to the tech working on it. And he started to yell at me that he was trying to help me and answer my questions.Ā I tried to tell to explain that there was more wrong with the iPad. He then ended the the conversation,Ā "Have a nice day. Bye" and hung up on me. I went to the store Monday evening and it was the same employee who I had spoken to over the phone. It started out me trying to explain I work nights, need my iPad, and if was the same one I talked to earlier. Very shortly after the employee started to yell at me that "he gets along with everyone, everyone loves him, and I just don't care" . " it's you, and you acting like like this" , waving his hands in the air at me and trying to make fun of me.
I found the owner on Facebook, reached out asking him to contact me. My message has been seen but no response from the owner.
I spoke with another employee the next, Joe, who stated that there are some issues and that they need to send it to another specialist and between you and me if it can't be fixed you'll get a new iPad. But I still do not know the extent of what was exactly wrong or what they did to try and fix it.
Received the iPad on Nov 23 and still having the same issues. Spoke with Joe again around 4pm who said they had a refurbished iPad and I told no, that will not work and that's not ok. Was told he would speak with owner and he'd have some answers by Friday and he would have to shop around for an ipad.
Stopped in at 1000 am Nov 25. Told Joe I would take both the original $155 owed in cash because the refund after 3 weeks had not been processed and cash for a new iPad because I was tired of waiting. And luckily with black Friday Apple had them on sale. He said the would have to call the owner and get him to bring that kind of cash in. Now at 149pm I receive a call back that he has my money. I ask, "out of curiosity, how much"? Joe tells me the $155. And acts surprised when I ask about the refund for the ipad and that he has to talk to the owner again. I asked that the owner call me personally and am still waiting for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBrought phone in with cracked screen to have it replaced. After it was replaced the mic stopped working properly as well as some of the touch functions. They said bring it in to look again, ok brought it it and they said it was āfineā, user error...Um...It worked prior to this repair...Leave the place not thrilled, but maybe I am missing something....after a week or more it definately is not working, cannot use Siri at all...Bring it back again, this time the guy is very rude, condescending and arrogant still saying you donāt know how to use the phone and the phone is fine....Whatever... after multiple trips to this place itās obvious they arenāt going to fix it. Take the phone to the apple store and their diagnostic comes back (i can share with folks that are interested in seeing) saying that the mic is not functioning properly, etc. The tech points out that the screen is bad or was installed improperly, we noticed too that if you look at the screen it is definately very wavy compared to the other iPhones we have at home. We posted reviews on Facebook and were promptly blocked by Phone ReqQ, and even worse were PMād that we have been reported to Facebook for slandering their business....The reality is the phone has been there multiple times and not fixed, the proprietor has insisted the phone is fine and it is not their problem. Itās not slander if its true justin....I would be happy to share the Apple Tech Report with you or anyone else, but since you have blocked me I canāt share it - I might share it on another review though if you think it would help you to figure out what may have been done wrong, but we wonāt come in and be treated...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time I dropped my Ipad the connector on the bottom got smashed, still worked but was difficult to keep hooked up. Second time i dropped it the protective glass cover almost totally shattered. No glass fell off, just cracks ALL over. I continued to use it for several months like this, which turned out to be a true PITA!!!! At Christmas 2016 wife and I left our mountain home in North GA and traveled to Fernandina Beach to spend holidays with family. Grandaughter looked at my Ipad and fell on floor laughing, grabbed it and ran out the door with it. Took it to ResQ for repair. Couple days later...and this was during Holidays!!! ....I get my Ipad back. Literally, I was flat astounded!!!! The repair was waaayyyy better than I expected!!! Totally renovated!!! Now, a full month later, with daily usage, there are absolutely no problems...!!!! Ipad works perfectly and .......if we have another computer problem we will jump into truck and race to ResQ!!!! BTW....theres not enough stars ...should be at least Ten (10)...
