Target — Local services in Flint Charter Township

Me and my boyfriend was just in there looking at toys for my son, I didn't see what my son had asked for so I then walked up to the concession stand because I wanted a drink and popcorn. Me and my boyfiend was in line, and there was a lady in front of us along came this man and his wife and daughter trying to cut in front of me and was being inpatient so when the lady moved up I moved up quite a bit in front of the cashier. This lady was digging through her purse to get her money and the man behind me said don't worry about it I will pay for it well that was nice and being in a Holliday spirit and all BUT me and my boyfriend were standing right there before this man and he pays for his stuff before me. I said to the Employee named Dan that I was here before him and all I wanted was a drink. This man was so rude to me and told me that I needed to use the bathroom being disrespectful towards me and rude, yes I did say some things back to him and once again he told me to go use the bathroom, I then asked for the Employee to call security and I wanted the Store Manager at the concession as well. Dan the Employee tells me I'm not going to do that you can, go find them yourself. I then told Dan that he tried to cut in front of me and that my boyfriend seen and heard the whole thing, Dan then goes to tell me that he did not see or hear anything and then Dan being the Employee tells me as a customer to go take a look in the mirror, and that he does not care what had happened and he can talk to me any way he wants. So me and my boyfriend were waiting there while I ended up calling the store to have someone come over to me. While someone picked up the phone at Customer Service a Security Guard named Max came over and while I being the customer was emotional and crying my boyfriend spoke for me and told the Security Guard Max what was going on. Max then goes into the back and was back there for a good few minutes, I then asked my boyfriend where did he go and I was told that he went to look at the cameras. So a few minutes later another Security Guard came out named James and was told that I did wrong! Just to let it be known while this whole situation was going on there were kids around, another thing I am disabled and have a speech problem. In Michigan there is a law that there is a fine of up to $500 and/or 90 days in Jail for using Improper Language in the Presence of WOMEN and Children. §750.337. My rights here at Targets were violated and I was not treated with proper care as a customer. And not to mention I am going to school...

The updated interior of this store has such a nice appeal. I still feel like I need a road map to find the things I need within the store. The staff deserves 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. I asked two store personnel for assistance. They were incredibly helpful, professional and customer focused. They did not have single TV tray tables. I know, who needs them anymore but I’m having surgery. I do miss having a pharmacy at this location. This location also had amigos available except one ran out of juice and I was left stranded in the most boring area. One of the staff members asked if she could get another one for me and that showed her incredible kindness. One of the items I purchased (home department) was supposed to be 15% off and I had to go to the counter to get this discount. I was given it in cash despite having paid in credit which irritates me that I wasn’t asked for my preference. But that did not over shadow my experience...

Just walked out with 20 containers of cat litter from about 5 or 6 transactions. Felt like jerks walking in 4 minutes to close, but it was the last day to get the full deal on it. The staff was extremely polite dispite us keeping them after close. The girl back near pet supplies remembered talking to me on the phone earlier and helped us load our 3 carts. The woman at the register was patient with us as we divided our purchases and coupons for each transaction. The manager was even sweet enough to help us out to our car with our 3 carts. We certainly werent out to upset anyone by showing up that late with that kind of muliple transaction scenario, but were prepared to face it if we did...but the staff there was so amazing, I dont know that we would have gotten that kind of treatment at any other store in that situation. Amazing...
