Dairy Queen Grill&Chill — Restaurant in Florence

My rating today is rather generous. It is for the current (6/11/18) crew and staff. They were extremely slow in getting the order ready. It took about 25 minutes for a #1 quarter pd bacon cheeseburger/large fries, totally unacceptable. Worse, the bacon was only half done. The crew was extremely disorganized. Cashiers had trouble with the grill man constantly. They even asked him if he even knew how to make a cheeseburger. The grill man had up to four or five counter people waiting on other orders before mine. The original staff/crew that initially came with the store when it opened was awesome. I guess that's what you get when the management and the owners both are present to oversee the crew. I doubt these guys could benefit from that. I know all this because I long since abandoned waiting at my table and had to take my dad-blasted number to the counter to go see for myself. Also all the salt shakers were wet and full but non functional because the people cleaning the tables oversprayed them with the fluid they cleaned them with and as you know, salt does not flow when the excess moisture makes it one large rock of salt. I was on a road trip and stopped by here twice because I needed to charge my car at the charging stations across the street. The firt time I went through was fine. Everyone was nice and my order was great. However, when I went through the second time, my experience was not so great. I walked up at 9:30 pm and right as I grabbed the door handle, a girl ran over and flipped the open sign to closed. I looked at the posted hours and it said Friday the dining room closes at 10 pm. I mentioned that and she said the door was already locked and that I could go through the drive thru. Ok...Went back to my car, unplugged it, went through the drive thru, the line was more than 10 cars. I decided not to go through because I needed to charge my car. So I wasn't able to enjoy a blizzard while I sat in my car for 45 minutes for it to charge. When it was done, I went through the drive thru again to pick up a blizzard to eat while I drove back home. The drive thru was supposed to close at 10:30 pm, but they had closed that down before 10:30! If I ever come through again, I certainly will not...

We went into this dairy queen to order ice cream during a road trip. We went to the restrooms first to relieve ourselves and to wash our hands before eating. The bathrooms were blocked by 2 tables and several chairs. When one of our children went around it as it was an emergency for her, the employee screamed at her that the bathroom was for employees only. We replied that restaurants are required to provide bathrooms. Her response was "we do have bathrooms but they are for employees only." We then let the other children go and another customer dud as well. The manager came out and accused us our yelling at her employee and advised that she would call the police if we didn't leave. We advised that we would be leaving when our child came out of the bathroom. As we were leaving she started clapping and yelling about us not purchasing anything. My point of complaint is that the restaurant did not provide public restroom access for customers even though they were in...
