Liquor City - Florence — Local services in Florence

Ignore any reviews prior to about May or June 2023. This place was sold to a new owner and it is a disaster. All the knowledgeable staff members are now gone and replaced by those who can work the cash registers only, and the inventory is now terrible, especially for the hard-to-find bottles.

While annoying to some, they once had a great points program to access allocated bottles. Unfortunately, the new owner has jacked up the points, devaluing all current points holders.

I'll never go here again. Instead, I'm making the extra drive to Liquor City Uncorked in Covington to access a better points program and good insight on bottles...

I make specialty cakes for coworkers and family members. And I had a request, from a coworker, that was leaving and I needed a small amount of Hennessy. And one of the employees, was extremely helpful and took the time to explain to between the brand and the actual liquor. The cake was a huge success and I have had several requests for more. Visited Florence as an overnight stop and popped in to liquor city as my husband wanted something to drink at the motel Staff were brill. I don’t drink but was looking for alcohol free beer which I know seems silly to ask for in a liquor store. The lady who was serving was fab. There was sooo much choice and a massive walk in fridge so you can buy your beer ready chilled ! The lovely lady helping us found exactly what we were after and was very chatty and friendly too....
