We have taken our children here twice now and both times have had issues. The first time, we had all three of our children's hair cut and while our sons (who got their hair cut buy a guy) hair turned out fine, our daughter's hair ended up looking like a cut you would give a boy! Never has her hair ever looked that bad. So today we decided to just have our boys hair cut considering their hair turned out fine the previous time. What a mistake! Both of their hair looks patchy and terrible and even worse, the woman who cut my eldest son's hair cut his ear! At best the people that cut their hair today should NOT be cutting children's hair. I have had my kids hair cut in many different states, at many different salons and never has their hair ever turned out this badly and certainly no one has ever cut their ears! The manager is supposed to be giving my husband a phone call today, so we will see how that goes. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend anyone get their hair cut here and please avoid this place for children's hair cuts. Hopefully my son isn't terrified of getting his hair cut permanently now, because right now he has been crying about how the lady that cut his hair didn't listen to him and cut his ear! UPDATE! I did speak to the owner of this location and she gave me a full refund and also spoke to her staff. I really appreciate her listening and addressing the issue!

I brought my 9 year old Granddaughter to get a simple haircut I asked the girl to curl her hair. As soon as she sat down and I was explaining what we wanted the girl gets a personal call and leaves us there while she went to the bathroom to talk on the phone for 5 minutes! I was never told my 9 year old would be charged as an ADULT!!! $43!!! I was charged $18 for an adult cut which I dont know of one single place of business that charges a NINE year old adult prices!!! The 5 or 6 curls she did on her cost a whopping $25!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY'RE NOT EVEN GOOD!!! I use a way better salon in Stockdale and they wouldn't think of charging that much unless there was color or something complicated! I'm so disgusted!!! I did talk to a girl who claimed to be a manager and was basically told their location charges 9 and up as adults even though Fantastic Sam's website says 11 and up. I have 2 other 10 year olds needing haircuts but I'll use a reputable location who will do a much better job for a decent price and would never pick up their phone while dealing...

I had a wonderful experience with Opal! I came in later in the day after work, hoping to get highlights despite not having an appointment. Due to my demanding schedule, it’s been difficult to consistently visit a stylist—especially at the high-end salons.

She was not only professional and skilled, but also incredibly personable. We had great conversation and she kept me laughing throughout the appointment. Despite it being past closing time, Opal never made me feel rushed. I even apologized for the late hour, and she genuinely reassured me that she didn’t mind staying late.
