I have been to this location several times as it is less than one miles from my house. Tonight had to be in the top five of the worst drive-thru experiences I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. In fact, so much so I am going to take time to share the nightmare.
So I pull up to the intercom with one car in front of me already at the pick-up window. All of the sudden I am deafened by two employees talking over the speaker at the same time. One of which had his microphone turned up so loud, I can only compare it to standing directly in front of stage speakers at a death metal concert. One female voice is telling me to "please wait a ;moment" and the other male voice is telling me to "order when you are ready". So naturally I ask, "are you ready?". The female voice responds back, "please wait a moment."
I waited almost five minutes (with ONE car in front of me), for someone to take my order. I ordered one #11, one spicy-sweet taco and a Fiesta Taco salad made with chicken. I finally got to the window and paid.
After waiting almost ten minutes, the young man opens the window and hands me my food. Assuming that they just had to pluck the chicken and cook it after waiting what seemed like an eternity (in fast food standards), I figured everything would be correct. NOPE! I thought it was strange that he only handed me one bag when I had ordered a salad.
I proceeded to pull out of the drive-thru and into a parking spot in the adjacent lot. I was ready to find out if my theory was correct of them forgetting the salad or Taco Bell has the smallest taco salads in the world. Sure enough...they forgot it.
I pulled back into the Taco Bell parking lot only to find that there are now six cars in line. No problem, I will just go inside. NOPE! Doors are locked! I got this, I will just call them and have them bring me a salad out to my car. Nope! Busy signal! Maybe it was all the people calling in to tell them how bad they suck.
I drove back around to the drive thru window and waited for the customer that was at the window to get there food so I could try to flag the guy down. It seems she was in the exact same predicament as me. I wanted to yell at her, "check your order before you pull away because they probably forgot something!".
So here I am 45 minutes later, cold tacos and no taco salad! The frustration boiled over. I drove back over to the parking spot and parked. I got out of the car and knocked on the door to get the attention of the last two customers that were in the dining room to go get the oblivious employee's attention. He brought me the taco salad and said, "Sorry man.".
Instead of getting upset, I just took the salad from him and left. Needless to say, I had cold soggy tacos for dinner. Thanks Taco Hell!
I should have just gone...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE! Mr. Krabs could be the owner .This place sucks ordered a Beefy 5 layer burrito. I thought that it didn’t even have any beef . Gave me a single small bite of beef at the end of the burrito. The rest was all beans. In the same Visit, I also ordered a crunch wrap supreme, and substituted the beef with steak. They charge like $1.10 something to substitute with steak. They gave me maybe a spoonful of steak Whereas if you order beef(Not paying extra) you get a crap ton. I don’t know what they’re doing trying to save money. I paid extra for the steak. I could barely even taste the meat in my crunch wrap. It was so patchy parts of it were just straight Lettuce. I wouldn’t be surprised if they water down their cheese. Be careful because I’ve heard that other restaurants that do this also, I’ve heard, use the same tea Until it runs out and I’m talking about like days old. Even heard of people eating old food and getting sick like food with mold you have no clue what goes on in that kitchen. All I know is they’re trying to save money and that can be really bad. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do sell rotten food.. This business is definitely here to save money, not create a customer base. I would be skeptical of going here For even health reasons. I don’t know how far they would go to save money. They sure did ruin my food and waste my money though. I will say, though that the food that I ate did not...
Read moreStopped through on a Sunday night and ordered the encherito. It was so good I went back the next day to get another and the girl working refused to make it. She lied and said they no longer carried it. I told her I had got one the night before at her location and she proceeded to argue saying their location no longer carried them. I advised her again that I had one less than 24 hours prior at her location. She then stated it didn't matter they were no longer allowed to sell them and that person shouldn't have let me order one. If they were out of the ingredients or something, I get that. Hell i even understand if they dont have a way to ring it up any longer. But this was not the case. If you have the ability to make something and earn your company money, you should oblige your customer and make it. This was a case of pure laziness. I drove to the next closest taco bell and guess what they let me order with no issue---Encheritos! Props to this locations night crew for not being lazy. But work on your...
