Geek Squad — Local services in Flowood

I went to get files off my HDD which was saying that it needed formatting and couldn't read files. I had talked to an IT professional before going to them and specifically asked them to do a basic format and recover the files because that's what seemed to be the problem. They suggested I pay a whole years subscription for the service and I really wanted my data back and since there seemed to be no other better option (I saked) I got it. They took my HDD and couldn't fix it and said I can send it to an advanced data recovery for the cost of a new laptop. I asked what they did and they didn't do what I had asked for in the beginning and said they didnt have the software to do it. So I paid money for them to tell me the EXACT same thing I already knew. I am very disappointed and won't be taking my business to any geek...
