I have been debating on posting this. My family and I were in there last Saturday and an incident occurred. I am a down to earth, rationale person and try to think before I react. The store is a good store, this is more on the side of not properly securing or hanging stuff. My toddler came close to loosing her eye on Saturday due to an improperly placed hook rack. Before I go further my toddler was not running around the store, wasn't acting crazy, or unsupervised at any moment. If you are familiar with toy areas or the DVDs in the center of the isles at walmart you know that there are big bins in the middle isle that has balls in them. This was similar to that, therefore it wasn't flat on the wall and hooks protruding for hanging merchandise. My toddler dropped her toy and reached down to pick it up when she hit open eyeball to hook rack. No one could see the hook rack because it was black and blended in with the bin. There was no purpose for the hook racks to be there as nothing was hanging on them. That to me is negligence on safety. Had she been running around unsupervised or acting crazy and ran into a wall with it I could see it being my fault, but it was a middle isle basket bin and shouldn't have had hook hanger on them. Those in wheelchairs could run into it and it literally pierce their skin. My daughters eye lid is purple and black and I am taking her to the eye doctor to make sure there isn't any damage. Read morei love alot of the products they carry, however my recent experience left me so mad to tears. i lost the receipt to my order but needed to return some items my sister changed her mind on, we came in and there was 4 staff members present and no one else in the store, we explained the situation and were told we'd have to wait for a manager, 5+ mins go by and no one shows up, i hear one of the staff say to their coworkers that they texted the manager and she hadnt seen it yet. my sister and me were tired and live in another city so we just left, frustrated. i came back today just to be told i cant return anything without a receipt, they cant look up my card number to find the order, i cant even get store credit. i explained my previous situation, didnt get a "sorry for your wait." just a "thats all we can do." i understand that certian stores have their own return policies, but please post them!!!!!! and let customers know the FIRST time they come in that returns cant be processed without a receipt. $20 down the drain :( wont be coming back...
Read moreThe staff here is wonderful! They are really friendly & super helpful! Every time I've been it's been kinda busy but they do such a great job keeping it organized & clean. Most stores make my anxiety sky rocket but this 5 below is not one of them! We went here the over the weekend that just passed for a pop it fidget for my daughter..
