This is a unique experience. The decor is simple and tasteful old doors simple lighting. The tables and chairs scream ikea. Our table wobbled so much I feared my hot ginger tea would pour out and burn me. The crepes were much thinner than I am accustomed and the Spicey Shrimp crepe was scarce of ingredients for the price. If there was 4 extra small shrimp one leaf of spinach and a scatter of what other ingredients were involved. It left me feeling like I got to try a sample when I was looking for a degree of full. It was light and tasty but a light snack at best for a Foody. My guest tried Ny style cheesecake which worked well because they were not Hungry. With boba tea that is not the ball popping kind but some kind of cube described as interesting. Now let’s go to the order process. The orders are towards the back so after ordering you can feel like your leaving maybe. The order process was simple nothing visual to offer on the menu and nothing visual of prep despite a long glass area like a buffet. The ordering process made me feel slightly unwelcome and they have only slide card on their clover so no tap pay features. The person that took our order looked as if she was being tortured and it was somehow my fault. The menu is different and if you have $15 per person to blow on a snack after a light meal maybe this is for you. Poke bowl and crepes skip the crepes drive 5 min and just get the bowl...
Read moreMy husband and I popped in just to have a little something sweet this afternoon. We shared the Sunflower fruit crepe. Oh. My. Goodness. First of all, thank goodness we shared because there's no way we could have finished one each. Second, it was absolutely devine. Everything was fresh and light with just the right ammount of sweetness. We can't stop talking about it. On top of that, the environment was clean and adorable and the employees were so friendly. It was an absolute joy of an experience. Had we known they also did savory crepes and poke bowls we would've had lunch there as well. But we will DEFINITELY be back!
Just a side note, if you eat here PLEASE spread the word and leave a review! They didn't ask me to and I am in no way connected to this place but as a local I can tell you businesses in this area come and go. Just a few months ago this place was something completely different so if we want these rare, quality, family owned restaurants to stick around here we need to do our part to support them. I'm sure you'll want to revisit this place after visiting once so go ahead and recommend them to your friends and family or tourists you run into and leave your positive reviews! I'm sure it helps small businesses...
Read moreWe wanted to stop by on Tuesday, but they were closed, so we actually went to the nearby Poke & Boba place, just down the street a bit. We came back to try this place because of all the great reviews. The inside here is MUCH better, super cute and has a coffee shop vibe, nice to chill and have a cute place to have any meal.
We ordered the standard tuna bowls and a 3-protein custom bowl. We all noticed that you get less food here than the other Poke place, and maybe they use less protein overall? It was less filling for sure. Everything seemed fresh though, and I liked the mango in the tuna bowl, great summery touch. We also got crepes, and those were really big. I think 1 savory crepe would be a good meal, since we couldn’t even finish one of the sweet ones between the 3 of us. Overall, it’s a great and cute place, but if you really want a big filling meal, the other place will probably be more bang...
