I came in to get a hair cut at this store one day before Valentine’s Day, they were slammed but the kind individual at the front desk went to see if a stylist named Ashley would take a walk in. Ashley ended up taking the walk in and I was super happy. I have medical issues that stack up land cause an extreme amount of hair loss, and I had long hair on top of that. I brought all of my concerns from wanting a color on my fine hair, to finding a style to semi-hide the thinning and Ashley and they listened honestly. They talked me out of getting onyx black hair so that way I don’t end up washed out with my shin undertones, and they helped me to pick a rich espresso style brown black instead. We decided on cutting the dead hair to allow growth and to add layers, and I had bangs for the first time in a long time. Ashley took their time with my hair cut, my dye, and my blowout. Each of it was meticulous, and all products for styling were shown to me and the benefits were explained in detail. This is just another reason why Ulta had my absolute trust with my hair. I could not have this done anywhere else and them actually take care of my hair and my needs, and in between clients at that! I moved here in October 2019. I found Ulta in December and had my hair done did a wonderful job. So I went back to have my roots done . I had my color put on while the stylist completed her other client. An hour later she checked it and noted the color wasn’t lifting so she put on more. We are two hours into this now. When she finished with her other client she Noted the color wasn’t lifting still and put bleach in my hair to lift it and continued to put it thru all my hair. I questioned again to why it’s taking to long for my roots. Stylist proceeded to tell me they didn’t have all the correct supplies as the Ulta order hadn’t come in so she got some of her own stuff. So apparently was using Paul Mitchell and Ulta products in my hair. When all was said and done my hair is purple in the front gray and a gold color. The manager aware of how upset I was. My scalp was burning from all the different products. Now I was told I would pay for the haircut not the color. Very upset over the whole situation. The stylist offered to fix on Sunday after my hair had time to rest. I did not go as the trust was gone. The breakage and color I can live with poor...

I had the best experience with Denim at Ulta Beauty in Foley, AL! She gave me my very first perm, and I’m beyond thankful she was able to fit me in after my previous stylist had to cancel last minute. As a guy getting a perm for the first time, I wasn’t sure how comfortable I’d feel, but Denim immediately put me at ease and made the whole process enjoyable. The service was absolutely amazing—she was professional, kind, and clearly skilled at what she does. I also really appreciated that she gave me her card and added notes to my profile.

The other stylists were wonderful too—everyone was so friendly and gave me so many compliments, which made the experience even better. I also watched one of them work with a mom and her little one, and the patience and care they showed was absolutely amazing.
