I honestly wish zero stars was an option for this location! I love home goods but please think before shopping here!!! The employees have NO customer service skills. While shopping here I bought two night stands. No employee was in the furniture area so I simply grabbed the tags off the night stands I wanted. Waited in line for 10plus mins, which is always expected, only to be told/ reprimanded for not informing a nonexistent employee, that they must carry the furniture to the front… they refused to let me check out at this time. I then had to wait on said nonexistent employee to come from the back to let them know of the pieces I wanted so they could be carried to the front. They then moved them to the front and made me wait an additional ten mins at a cashier stand with…. The assistant manager came up and asked what was I waiting on, I informed them and they then reprimanded me and told me I had to get back in line, a second time!, to check out properly. I then stood up for myself as I was sick of people telling me how to spend my money in a store!! She lacks ANY customer service skills and should think about her career whole heartedly as she is not fit to service anyone or anything!!!!! As I finally stood up for myself, in this disgusting interaction, demand I not wait in line again as she continued her rant on how things should be done!! No signs anywhere nor help! If you want your shoppers to do certain things at least have a damn sign!! Read moreMe and my mom visited the store on 9/14 around 5pm. We love shopping here, however not one employee asked us if we were finding everything okay. We got into the check out line, when it was time to leave and our cashier was very rude. We had a lot of suitcases and a lot of stuff but that is no excuse. The cashier name was Arlo, and she did not say 1 word to us. She never asked us if we found everything ok, or how we were, and never thanked us or said have a great day on the way out. I work in retail currently I have plenty of customer service to know that something needs to change. Whether it is the employees attitude or it is the management itself. We spent over $400, and I was expecting at least a hello how are you or a thank you. It really is not that hard. Read moreNew clean store. I like it. Know what else I like? They have men’s shorts/pants sizes in 28 waist! Enough so that they even have rack tags for them. Good selection of men’s clothing. Other comparable stores have a bunch of just weird looking stuff that comes as no surprise why it didn’t sell well. This actually has some good stuff.
Bathrooms were very clean. The only thing that didn’t make sense was the hand dryer, trash barrel, door pull handle combo. If you have a pull handle in the bathroom, you need a paper towel dispenser, not a hand dryer. If I wash my hands, air dry, then have to touch the same door handle as all the guys who didn’t wash after doing their business, then I’m back to square one. Simple improvement to make it work.
