What a scam. I purchased new Sony OLED TV from Best Buy. It started blinking 6 red lights after 2 years of use. I called the Sony recommended repair shop and, of course, get the answering machine and no return calls after leaving several messages. I then contacted the Geek Squad and relayed Sony TV purchased from Best Buy blinking 6 red lights, and to set up technician visit. I had to PREPAY $125 for technician visit. The tech showed up, turned TV on, and said "yes, it is blinking 6 red lights" (this ain't rocket science). The tech then tells me he will text message quote to install a new part plus labor, that there is no formal contract nor written warranty, cost around $490. I'm done with Best Buy and Geek Squad, and Sony. ...
Read moreNot too happy. We bought a Bose soundbar which keeps going out. We thought it was the soundbar, so replaced it. Still had trouble, so thought it was the TV and replaced that. They've been out 4 times to "fix" the problem. The problem is still there. Come to find out that they failed to actually set up the product. All they did was plug it in and program the universal remote (which doesn't actually work to turn sound on and off, only to adjust volume). Very disappointed. They are not technical experts in my opinion. They are simply installers. Not worth the $200...
