I always hear reviews about this Barnes and Noble and how great it is, but when I came in today I was truly disgusted by a manager and how she was treating the employees and guest. I walk in and look around when I couldn’t find a book that I was looking for I go up to this “manger” to ask for help but she rudely ignores me and passes me off to one of the employees. Take note this manger was doing nothing but walking around. What truly rubbed me the wrong way was the way she talked to her employee. It was as if she wasn’t a human being. I was actually shocked how she rudely and disrespectfully talked to this nice employee in the open eye in front of customers. By the way the manger is name Stephanie. News flash honey, you work retail for a living. You’re not better than anyone that works there because of a label you carry. Humble yourself and don’t treat your staff horribly because you think you can by being a manager. It’s not a pleasing look for the company that’s known to be a kind welcoming environment. I can’t see why you couldn’t help when you just stood there doing nothing. Being a manager doesn’t stop you from helping customers it’s part of your job. You still need to treat your employees with respect instead of being a rude to them no matter what position you hold. I would like to have liked this Barnes but I wouldn’t support this place due to the horrible treatment for their employees. By the way the nice employee who did help me out after being yelled at by the manager was very sweet and helpful. I had the greatest interaction with them. They found my book, but I decided not to give them the sale due to the horrible work place. I rather support another Barnes. It really did sadden me they were getting treated that way. At whoever is in charge with hiring managers, do better and hire someone who is actually deserving of the role. I will be letting corporation know because no staff deserves to be...

They would not stop staring at us. So they told us to leave the legos which we were find with. They thought we would intimidate the kids. We were fine with that. Then we started walking around an this old man working there would not stop following us and it felt really uncomfortable. They said his job was to stack books but he wasn't doing that when we were playing legos only when we were walking around he was so they say putting books away. It was funny because he was restocking books and just randomly looking at others books around us which was random and obvious he was looking at us. It's kinda crazy where every we were he was there. Then my friend asked him about a book and the old man said idk read it and that was so rude. So we got mad the supervisor called security because she said we were causing disturbance getting mad at him. I do not recommend coming here they don't like teenagers. Its sad that they were scared of us and I really like...
