Leatherby's Brand New Location in Folsom off Iron Point Rd. is Very Popular right now, Since it JUST HAD OPENED ON MONDAY 6-1-23, Still the Line was Long for Dining In Carry -Out or even sitting outside. Went to find out how long the "Wait -Time" was for a table, hubby, impatiently wanted to just sit eat & go! He grew uo going to the Citrus Heights-Antelope Location growing up & in College, & SWEARS Best in Town for Drive in Hang Out Social Eats, Especially Ice Cream & Specialty Sandwiches & Burgers, so we were told about 10 minutes Tops. Ended up putting in a To-Go or Carry Out Order...& silly US...we didn't check out the order! No Onions & Ranch dip for the fries SUPPOSE TO BE on the side. Opened @ Home 25 minutes away... No Dip 😔 & The Pint if Rocky Road (Pre-Packaged) was LOADED WITH THE MOST MARSHMALLOWS you could pank into a Pint of Ice Cream!😵‍💫😡 Oh, well Not getting pre packaged Pints from there anymore...or we may not go back & just travel to Citus Heights for the I've got a "Leatherby's Craving"! 😪 oh well, Live & Learn & Let Be! 😎 Who traveles 25 minutes 1 way for Ranch Dip & Ice Cream 🍨🍌 Might give it another shot after Grand Opening Hub-Bub wares off!...

To be honest I don't know or heard of "Folsom Gateway" despite shopping in this area every week. I live one town over, about 20 miles away, so my visits are at least once a week. What I can say about this area is it is quite busy with major shops, restaurants, gas and movie theater all within one mile. Generally a clean reasonably friendly service all around. Went to Olive Garden on 3/12/23 around 3 pm with my family including 4 grandkids for my daughter's birthday. Everything was so good from the breadsticks, soup and salad to shrimp and scallops alfredo fettuccine and dessert to go.
