Little Folks University — Local services in Folsom

Very disappointed and upset with their client service leading up to the pending registration of my oldest child with this facility. Was left unanswered ,during the school tour, if my kids can attend here or not, due to director being out that week, (I get it, they need vacations too). I accidentally called back same week, I am a SAHM so sometimes I forget what day of the week it is.. LOL. Anyways, was told I would receive a call Mon or Tues from the director with a response. Nothing, called on Wed and the director said there was definitely a spot open for my son (who will be attending a school that they had double confirmed serviced - before/after school care). And he could start any time. I had asked her for the next steps, as per the reviews, wanted to get him in before it was taken up. She said that she would contact me on Friday morning and made herself a note, promised she would call me. Friday afternoon comes along, almost 3pm, person who answered says the director has been on a 'break' and should be back in 30 mins. An hour goes by, I call and regretted it, felt like I was being a pest so I hung up. I get a call about 10 mins from the same lady who answered the first time, NOT the director herself, whom I have been in contact that week. States that there is no spots for my kids and all of a sudden they aren't servicing that school he is attending. I tell her that the scheduled morning phone call was to set up a time to register him, what was that all about? She murmured, as she had nothing to say about it, other than give me some BS excuse. My 3 year-old daughter has been attending Little Folks University since she was 5 months old. My husband and I instantly felt welcome here. The staff treat the parents and kids like family. Each classroom radiates a warm, home-like atmosphere, and they are kept clean and organized. My daughter loves her teachers and she's so excited to go to school every day! I am very impressed with her language development and the wonderful social skills she has gained since starting here. It is a wonderful feeling to find caregivers with whom you can trust; not only to look after your child, but to provide friendship, encouragement and emotional support. My husband and I love Little Folks University. I would never take my son (and any future children) to another daycare. I love the way that the teachers interact with the children and how you can tell that they all truly care about what they're doing and that it's not "just a job." I feel like my son has learned something new every day! There is no better feeling than knowing that your child is in the best hands.
