I went to this Theatre for a Tony Award winning play called "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." It was remarkably true to its original showing on Broadway. All of the actors are volunteers and so, they are highly enthusiastic about their art. I was not expecting too much from a small theater company, but I was blown away by their professionalism and ability. I hope they will continue to be a fantastic theater company, and infuse Folsom with their art.

A true treasure tucked in among the shops and bars on Sutter Street in Historic Folsom. Don't let the small size deter you if you can get tickets by all means do it! Attended opening night for "Holiday in the Hills" and really had a good time. Just right mix of comedy, reverence and pure joy. Honestly I enjoyed this more than some of the big splashy expensive shows at large venues.

Year and after year my family has visited this small, local theater for their Christmas performances. They have shown to put on a great show every year. The lead couple is personable and gives a lot of their time to making great shows. The intimate environment is unique. I'd highly recommended attending one of their year round shows.

Well, I do not live in the area so when I attend performances it is a trip over 150 miles and I have to get a hotel room. Went to several shows here and they were great so I really wanted to attend a performance of Evil Dead. It appeared that every show was sold out so I called to get on a wait list. I got a call saying they had tickets. I called back and paid $70 over the phone. After paying the person says and those seats are in a splash zone. Asking what they meant, I was told oh they just throw some water on you. Well that’s not what they mean I was completely covered drenched in some jelly substance and water that ruined my shoes and made me have to buy a new phone the next day. Really? Just warn people so they don’t travel over 100 miles spend over 1000 and have to throw away 200 dollar shoes and buy a new phone the next day! Very unprofessional treatment! I get the joke, but not at a...

What a GREAT playhouse! We caught the opening show of Peter and the Starcatcher here last week, and it was fantastic! The actors truly gave the performance their ALL and every one of the cast members were extremely talented! We were blown away by that...by how talented they were and how passionate the entire cast was about their craft! The owners, a lovely married couple, were adorable and funny and gave the audience a nice introduction and story about their theater, including funny personal anecdotes which really endeared the audience to these charming people and their lovely playhouse. The husband apparently does the set building and production which is pretty remarkable considering the detail of the set, which for this play was built and designed into a pretty believable ship at sea! Highly recommended playhouse for a truly spectacular, and highly unique and intimate live...

Great community theater, definitely talented! Less expensive (by far!) than traveling Broadway and the other local community theaters in Sac that I am familiar with. Occassionally original shows (like Strait Camp, about the funniest I've ever seen). Just saw an off-Broadway Harry Potter spoof, going to Evil Dead Musical in October. Have seen Harvey and I think they're doing an Agatha Christie this summer. Also have family/kids shows and camps. Trust me,...
