I usually don't do too many reviews, but this one I had to. If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. Do not sell your items to this store! I went to this store in Jonesboro on 1/8/24 around 11am. The staff was RUDE!!I I walked inside the store and said "good morning"(NOTHING)! I said "good morning" again, but this time she (manager) mustered up a very silent good morning. The manager act as if I was bothering her. I arrived with 10 pair of booties and a Micheal Kors purse. I couldn't wear the booties anymore because they did not fit due to an accident. Some of the boots were purchased from Nordstroms and Dillards. They were very, very, very nice boots. I was insulted with the offer...$45 for 5 of the boots and the purse. I looked at her and said "Uhh NO MA'AM!! I guess she thought I was going to be desperate for the money. The stores advertising is MISLEADING!! The so call authentic designer items in the store Gucci, Versace, Prada, etc...are so OLD!! You expect to see at least some nice authentic designer that they show and advertise on the website, but that remains to be seen. The staff that check the items don't know about quality. Especially after seeing some of the clothes and shoes that was chosen to be in the store. Needless to say I left and took my things to a consignment store and the consignment store took all of my items to sell. I might have to wait longer to get my money from the consignment store but I'm fine with that! At least it will not be $45. My first experience at Clothes Mentor in Jonesboro was not good and the staff needs training in CUSTOMER SERVICE! Especially the manager. They had a sign on the door (Now Hiring). I feel bad for any new employees that have to be trained by them. Stay away from this store if you want to...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlease donāt purchase from this location. They donāt authenticate the items they sell. I received a counterfeit āBurberry Herā perfume from this location via an online transaction. I had a gut feeling it might be fake, so I called on Monday to cancel my order - which the store associate and manager said okay to. However they still proceeded to ship the item on Tuesday & charge me. When I opened the package today, this is what I got - a fake. I advised the store manager who said they get their perfumes from a āverified vendorā⦠but they clearly donāt. Please see the diffidence between the real item with the logo etched into the glass versus the fake item I received in the mail with gold lettering. You can still see the transfer tape outline on the bottle. Save your money and donāt buy from this store. They will ignore your request to cancel your order, sell you fake merchandise and then gaslight you by saying itās real and ghost you after taking your money. If you google, thereās no photos whatsoever with the perfume bottle having gold transfer tape lettering. This location sells fake counterfeit items from a non...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not bring your things here to sell unless you don't care how much you get for them. Like, if your next step is dropping it off at Goodwill and anything is better than nothing, then this is the place. You will get flea market prices for your things, no matter what brand or how new they are, so don't waste your time with brand new items or premium brands.
I wanted to test them out so I took them some things. They bought a pair of 7 for All Mankind jeans, a Bebe suit, and a new with tags BCBG Max Azria blazer and gave me $17 for them. Not each, all of them. $17. Just keep that in mind when you are thinking about taking your nice things there. They are the pawn shop of the clothing world.
The process was quick and easy but disappointing so I will just keep going through the trouble of selling my nice things on Ebay. I'd rather give them away to someone who needs them than to a store who pays me peanuts and then sells it for several times more than they...
