Update: I called Pizza Hut's corporate hotline and was on hold for 30 minutes waiting for someone to pick up so I just sent an electronic complaint via their website. A couple days later I got a call from the store and talked to the manager briefly about my issue and she issued me a $10 credit to my phone number. I've received a credit identical to this before at another Pizza Hut so this must be the compensation you get when you complain to corporate. Anyway when I placed my comp order and when I went to pick it up the staff was friendly and my order was fine. I'm not sure if they cleaned house or what but depending on who is working you may or may not have a decent experience here.
I placed an online carryout order here with a coupon from the BOOK IT! Alumni Program, a special anniversary promotion where you got a free Personal Pan pizza that the cashier/waitress apparently never heard of since she suspiciously demanded that I show her a paper BOOK IT! coupon which I didn't have since the promotion was issued online via a coupon code.
After I offered to show the dual position woman the promotional email she just said that next time I better bring in a physical coupon, something that doesn't exist since I was redeeming an internet promotion. It's not like Pizza Hut has an online ordering option where you can request free Personal Pan pizzas so there was no reason to be so rude to me about a whopping $4 pizza order.
At this point we should have just left but since we were here we decided to order something else and placed our order at the counter for one of the menu items we wanted since they were out of the other one, waffle fries, and seated ourselves. The combo waitress/cashier did not come to our table once to ask if we wanted anything to drink or to check on us and when our boneless wings were ready they were silently thrown down on our table by a cook which was an incredibly rude way to deliver overpriced food to customers.
I've had bad experiences at Pizza Huts before and feel incredibly confident in saying that they are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to restaurants and customer service so it's a shame they are the only real national dine-in pizza chain. Needless to say I will never return here again and will only visit other Pizza Huts when they offer free or nearly free food since while it can be good it's almost always served with a disgustingly awful side of horrible...
Read moreI normally don't do reviews but this service at this location Mount Zion was the worst service and customer experience I've ever received in a lifetime I placed an order at 8 p.m. I received a text saying my order was received at 9:17 I received a text message saying that my order was on its way I actually called the store prior to that to add on to my order seeing as how I paid with a card and I needed to add on and I will be paying with cash when the driver arrived the customer representative I spoke to at the store location told me that was no problem at all they will be sending my order out needless to say my money was taken I never received my food my kids never received the food that they'd stayed up for, so needless to say I wait I called five times I never get an answer when I finally get an answer it is a call center only to tell me that the store location is closed I follow up with corporate in the morning I called the store the following morning only to speak to Sylvia who states that she is a manager so I think finally. Well that was a joke!!! Ms. Sylvia then states I called to inform you that we don't deliver to your location but no one answered (false) I stated well why wouldn't you leave a message for verification. She stated well I called. So I expressed to her I called and spoke to someone from your store to add on to my order and they never gave me that information she then apologizes again and states that if I would like to pay for another order she can place it and they'll be more than happy to send it out. I expressed to her that I'm actually a manager and I would never tell a customer that we can place another and you can pay. Read moreYou guys deserve NO STARS! Customer service sucks !! My experience at the Pizza Hut at 7157 Mount Zion Blvd Jonesboro, GA 30236 was DREADFUL. I order a pizza online from pizza hut at 9:30 PM. I called at 9:47 PM to order a additional wing sauce as well as Parmesan and crushed red peppers. My delivery arrived at 11:00 PM. He knocked on the door I opened it as he handed me my pizza I asked for the Parmesan and crushed red peppers as well as wing sauce which he did not have. He then dropped my fries on the ground and then I picked them up. After he left I opened my pizza to find it cold and doughy. My fries were oily and cold and did not taste at all like lemon pepper! I then immediately called Pizza Hut! The first time I called at 11:06 Pm I was on hold for 17 minutes. The second time I called I was on hold for 20 minutes and the fifth time I actually got through I was on hold for eleven minutes and then spoke to a manager finally at 11:57 Pm named Brandon. After telling him about my experience he proceeded to say “we closed, we don’t have anything left, I’ll take care of it tomorrow.” I called the following morning at 11:37 Am and spoke with a Silva who stated “ I can’t do nothing but give you store credit .” She then proceeded to say that Brian will be in at 12 o’clock. I said okay I will speak with Brian. When I spoke with Brian he stated that “ he could not do anything but offer store credit “ not one apology, I even offered to give the pizza back. I asked for corporate information but he said that “the store is franchised and that there was nothing I could do” “there was no one higher” I just wanted my money back from that awful experience!
