This is the worst Home Depot I have ever been to. There is a Lowes 3 miles down the road. Do not waste your time at this store. No one will help you and Home Depot Corporate does not care either. Examples, I went to this store today to buy a Father's Day gift. There were 4 employees standing up front talking to each other. Working very hard ignoring customers. Since I could not get any employees to help me find said gift, I looked up the items location through the Home Depot app. The app had the price listed at $169. When I checked out, the item rang up $199. The cashier, said I would need to go to customer service to get them to sort it out. When I went to customer service, more employees standing together working hard to ignore you. After 10 minutes in line ( one customer in front of me) I was told, that $169 price was the online price and Home Depot does not match their online price. If I wanted to get the item for the price listed on the app I would need to return the item. Go online, order the item, give them at least 30 minutes to put the order together and they will sell it to me for $169. Really Home Depot? I can possibly understand you not matching other retailer's price, but this was your own price. Like I said above, since Home Depot is going to make me work that hard for a price match, I took my business 3 miles down the rode. Tried to speak with a manager, but you are not allowed to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, this was not the first, second, or even third time I needed to speak with the manager and was denied the ability to speak with them. And don't waste your time reviewing their stores online or even giving the corporate office your option. You are only given a few characters to explain your experience, and if its a bad review its not what they are looking for. I have wasted enough time with Home Depot, don't...
Read moreMe and my Dad had hired a carpenter that he knows to help us get my house fixed up & revamped earlier this year in late July this past summer, which only took the three of us a month to complete in one month. So here are a whole slew of pictures showing the very building materials & supplies that we've purchased to be put into good use in order to fix my house, including some before & after pictures of my newly remodeled back porch deck.
And as added bonus I even remodeled my whole entire porch deck from the ground up, and to think it only took me, my dad & carpenter three working days to complete, with the very building materials that I've purchased from this very Home Depot location, now mind you that the type of wood that I've bought to rebuild my porch deck is treated wood, why because you can get up to 10 years or more with using treated wood to build with, which is an absolute guarantee not to rot over the years.
Unfortunately this month my old Lift Master garage door opener that originally came with my house 25 years ago had blew out, so I recently purchased a brand new Chamberlain Plus 3/4 HP Smart Garage door opener to replace my old former garage door opener for the garage, which comes with everything.
So word of advice to those who are first time builders and carpenters do not purchase untreated wood materials to build with, because the simple fact is that untreated wood is known to rot over the years, so only use treated wood, it lasts longer.👍🛠️
Now I can finally enjoy my newly revamped house in peace!!!😂
Also if you're ever shopping at this Home Depot location, just remember to ask for Ron. He's Home Depot's Sales Manager.
Thanks...
Read moreGreetings Michael,
I hope this email finds you in good spirits. If not, I hope it put you in good spirits. I’m writing to share my experience with your cashier Sharon. She single-handedly recovered my shopping experience from being a frustrating waste of time and effort.
I traveled 25 minutes from home, to my nearby HD (who didn’t have what I needed), to your store. I ran into a problem when your ONLY cash-accepting register had a problem that required a locksmith or some other kind of technician, meaning it was out of service at the time of my visit.
I’m not one to grant “passes” or accept excuses from large corporations on issues like these and Home Depot is no different. Candidly, your company is too large and too wealthy to have only a single cash-accepting register that can be knocked out of service for hours at a time. It’s just unacceptable.
Before leaving my items where I stood and walking out, I thought I’d get one of the many people available to check me out…and Sharon.
Sharon heard my concern with empathy and provided an apology instead of an excuse. She went of to appreciate me as a customer, saying things like “I’m glad you came over so I could check you out,” and “of course I’m happy to help, your my job. Without you, I’d have no reason to be here.”
I was completely blown away! I was frustrated and IMMEDIATELY disarmed by her kindness and professionalism. I’ve never experienced such a high level of customer appreciation in my life. It was such a simple gesture but it made me feel so good, I tried to tip her. Of course she refused so maybe you can do it on my behalf. She...
