Bad service!! It was terrible and awful!!! My experience with this place has been terrible so far. A disgusting company UHEALTH University of Miami Health System that only tries the patience of others!!! If it were possible, I would give them a minus 10 stars!!!! WARNING. The WORST place you can get treated especially the otolaryngology department. Dr. Christina D'Aguillo is extorting $1,626 from me for cleaning my ears with tweezers!!! Doctor needs showing price before start work and ask customer if customer is agreed with price! I completely disagree with doctor job description and I disagree with the huge amount what doctor wants to get. The Doctor should cancel this very huge amount $1,347.00 + $282.00 and not use my insurance for $1,157.55 because this work not worth that kind of money. Where do these seemingly easy to clean ears cost $1,629?.... I want see price of cleaned ears with tweezers amount $1,629. Company UHEALTH University of Miami Health System never shows price of this work!!! This work lasted less than 5 minutes (doctor cleaned my ears with tweezers about 5 minutes). I don't understand why a doctor demands huge amounts of money from a low-income patient. I have a low income and I can't pay that much. So, my insurance is free. I don't pay anything for my insurance at all. I already paid $50.30. And I paid $125.00 for my doctor visit. Anyway, my visit lasted less than 30 minutes, the doctor describes her work as if she had performed the surgery more than 30 minutes. The doctor is unprofessional and extorts money!!I sent them a letter disagreeing with this very high fee. In total, I need to pay $50.30. I paid this bill on July 2, 2025. UHEALTH University of Miami Health System called me many times demanding payment. I called them many times demanding to check their system, since the bill was paid on July 2, 2025. I don't know what this company wants from me if everything is done. I do not recommend this company! If they do not stop calling, I will be forced to contact a lawyer. Doctor is unprofessional and extortion money! This is clearly incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm a little shocked that this place is run so poorly. It's a medical office complex, but they charge extra hospital fees and bill for medical care as part of the hospital's services. Dr. Christina D'Aguillo charged money as if she had performed surgery. Them people are so cold and not caring, customer service is not part of the clinic. They’ll steal your money for hospital fee but if you brave enough to make a scene and yell perhaps, you’ll get help someone, that way the hospital fee maybe got waved. Besides that, the call center is scamming people - not warning them about the fees as well as the employees in the check in desk, selfish & cold. I don't know the legal stuff. but it feels, smells, and looks rotten, like old fish in the back of a refrigerator. Personally, I find it so unpleasant to deal with!!!!!. Copies of statement included. Bill of $50.30 was paid on July 02, 2025 off long ago and you need to update the information before calling me so often and wasting my time. You called me so often during business hours, this is very unprofessional. You need to understand when to be patient, when can you call the patient and not distract them from their work. You have no right to do this! I do not owe this terrible worst clinic anything! Stop call me all the time and do not distract me from my work.!!! The customer Service are mistaken, because in July I received a new statement for a payment of $50.30, paid on July 2, 2025. You have to be responsible for the information you provide. The statement you sent me with message is dated 05/27/2025. Check the balance of your new statement dated 07/09/2025. Document was attached. And please stop pressuring me all the time. If due to your pressure I will receive psychological trauma, I will be forced to contact a lawyer for the damage you will cause...
Read moreMy experience with this place has been terrible so far. I made a sports medicine appointment and could not be seen for a month and a half. When I go to the appointment the office is closed and I'm told I would be called to reschedule. I never receive a call. I call UHEalth to reschedule and can't be seen for a month an a half as if i am making my appointment for the first time. I explain the situation and the person on the phone assures me i should recieve a call from the office about it and schedules me another appointment in a month and a half. No one ever contacts me from the office.
I waited a month and a half for my new appointment and go to the office to find that I was scheduled at the wrong location so they schedule me a new appointment for the following week. I go to the appointment to find again that my appointment needs to be rescheduled and that I should have received a call. I RECEIVED NO CALL! EVER! They look my information up in the system and are able to find me. So my phone number must be correct otherwise i would imagine they would say that it was incorrect and they have now corrected it. I'm told that my appointment has been rescheduled already in 2 days, without even talking to me by the way. I'm going to guess someone is supposed to be calling people and rescheduling and they are just not doing their job.
This is clearly incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm kind of shocked that this place operates so poorly. I've now waited probably like 3 months for my initial appointment. Do I continue to wait? I have no confidence that I will ever have this appointment. At this point I'm in sunk cost fallacy territory. My injury seems mostly healed by now and I'm guessing I didn't need surgery. Imagine if I did and I was sitting here wasting time with these people. They would have been actively hurting me by wasting my time when I should have been seeing...
Read moreI go here three times a week as part of my cancer treatment. I am so happy with them I’m almost scared to tell anyone else how good they are because I am afraid to share them! I get labs, sometimes IV fluids or blood transfusions and have been doing so about three months. Every time I go there the scheduling/admin, nurses and care team greet me so kindly, often remembering my name. They will always ask would you like a drink or snack, a warm blanket? There is also a free coffee bar for patients. Everyone seems to enjoy their work, enjoys speaking with patients. A woman completed her last chemo treatment while I was there recently and every nurse came running and cheered for her as she rang the bell. I feel so lucky to receive part of my treatment here, I’m halfway through right now and it’s so comfortable, with a beautiful view of a lake and huge stunning palm trees from floor to ceiling windows. There is free valet parking and a covered walk way into the building with plenty of accessible seating. There are complementary wheelchairs waiting for you. It was beautifully decorated during the holidays and I remember being so comforted by that as I had just received my diagnosis. They are available to me after hours if I have any questions and the on call doctor calls me back quickly. For the cancer patients who have to stay for several hours they have private curtained bays with your own TV, and recliners that have heat and massage included. On Thursdays there is live music and art therapy for the cancer patients in the back. They have a very comprehensive app and my doctors and care team respond quickly to all my questions. My oncologist and his team are INCREDIBLE and I plan to give them a separate review because they’re so good. I don’t know what the future holds but regardless of what happens I am so grateful to say that I met these people and they...
