Whoever manages this location should be fired immediately. I showed up after the gym to get two veg-out bagels on multi-grain. Upon ordering (cashier had a terrible attitude), I pointed out the two multi-grain bagels I wanted and asked for them toasted with a side of potato salad. Easy, right? Nope.
After about 30 minutes of waiting in a lackluster dining room filled with impatient patrons, one of the employees approached me saying that they only had one multi-grain bagel left (please keep in mind I pointed the bagels out when I ordered, so this was a complete lack of communication but whatever), and all they had left were pumpernickel and onion bagels. THIS IS A BAGEL STORE THAT ONLY HAD TWO TYPES OF BAGELS LEFT AT LUNCH TIME FOLKS.
I wait another 10 minutes or so only for another employee to say, "are fruit cups okay?"
NO, fruit cups are not okay, I ordered potato salad but whatever again, I'll take the fruit cups.
The only plus side I'll give them was that the guy working offered me free sweets for the lack of potato salad, to which I declined because I'm not trying to get sweets anymore. Appreciated the gesture though.
Story isn't over yet... after grabbing a coffee from Starbucks (took 30 seconds and I had people in front of me), I went home to find that NEITHER of my bagels were toasted. Absolutely horrible and soggy.
They have catered events at work before, and those have gone over well, so this may just be a location problem. Needs to be fixed ASAP. Not to mention the bagels were sub-par and terrible to begin with.
I live right by the place and will never go there again. I'd rather walk to CVS, get crappy Martins bagels and throw them in the microwave. At least I can get my food then in...
Read moreThe Manger just called me "Boy" this is very unprofessional since your name is receipt. The Mange was chubby and with thick glasses and not clean shaven. This customer service does not make me feel welcome and yes I will continue to inform others from my experience at your shop. Just imagine how many more people are annoyed by this service and will not return.
I get it, being a morning manger at franchise bagel store was probably not your life goals. But this does not mean, to project on to your failure on your patrons . Please take a long hard look in the mirror. Be nice to your guess, in short they employ you.
Starbucks is walking distance from Einstein Bagels with no sass from Management. To be honest, I just want a simple transaction for food and be on my way. This is worth extra 5 minutes to type out to put checks and balance in order. Be nice yo your guess and hopefully you can learn from your mistakes.
PS; read through the other comments this past year. There's a common theme, I'll give you guess, its...
Read moreLocated in a strip mall on the corner of Federal and US 1, this Einstein was a bit chaotic from the moment I walked in. Outside they have a few tables for eating and people were enjoying these. However once I opened the door to walk in I was “greeted” by shouting and loud talking. It wasn’t aggressive but rather loud banter between employees and a customer along with employees dropping things making loud crashing sounds. After all that I believe there was a “welcome” shouted out but hard to tell over everything else. I ordered online and walked over to the mobile pick up shelves and nothing. I walked over to end of the pick up counter which had mobile order signs and nothing there either. There was a couple people waiting for their orders and in front of them, away from any mobile order signs, was my bag of food waiting all by itself. The cheesy hash brown was ok but not crispy like at my usual location. The All Nighter bagel sandwich was just ok as the bagel was more like a bread roll than bagel. Overall a very...
