After having this watch for 7 years I came here to get the glass crystal on my watch replaced after accidentally breaking it on the corner of a metal piece of equipment I was moving.
I spoke to a guy in his late 20's and he gave me a quote for $40 to replace and said it would take three weeks as they had to send it out for repairs. He said he's call when it was ready.
Cool.
Three weeks pass and no call.
WEEK 4 I give them a call. I had my claim ticket out, as they asked me for, but when I called the guy on the phone said he was "too busy to check right now, call back later." then hung up abruptly.
I called back about an hour later and asked if he could check but he sounded panicked and said "I don't know man, I don't know" and then hung up on me. Really strange.
WEEK 5
Another week passed without them calling to tell me my watch was ready. checked my caller list on my iphone but their number didn't show up and no voicemail.
I called back again, but by then I had lost my ticket, so I didn't have my claim number. So I asked him to look it up by my name. The guy said he can't do it by client's name, shady. I know he took down my info and phone number on his ticket. what's the deal? At this point I'm wondering if I'm ever going to get back my watch...
MONTH 3 Finally when I'm back in town form work I go into the store and speak with the older gentleman who works there.
I told him the whole ordeal and he went into the little back area with the younger guy who I've been speaking to on the phone all this time, who looked worried and suspicious, for some reason.
A few minutes later they come out with my watch, I give him my ID to match up to the ticket and the crystal has been replaced. doesn't look perfect but it's okay. The older man even set the time on the watch for me.
I walked away happy to have my watch.
A week later the new crystal broke as I set it face on my wood nightstand....
Bad repair, no communication. don't trust the younger guy who...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy name is Daniel, and Iāve been bringing all of my jewelry to Wilson Jewelry Repair for three years. Recently, I had an accident, and became paralyzed. So my caregiver/personal assistant has been bringing my jewelry for me for cleaning, services, and repairs. She brought 4 of my watches for cleaning/polishing and resizing. When I got my watches back, one of them was now broken/had a ringing sound coming from the inside of the watch itself. I asked my caregiver to kindly bring back the one watch that was broken. She did and they told her that, āthe watch had come like that when it was brought to themā which I can guarantee that it didnāt. My family has owned this particular watch for more than five years and there has never had a sound coming from inside the watch. I decided to call them to try to resolve the issue since I could not personally go in person since I am currently bedbound. The owners son gave no remorse to the situation, and told me that he had tried to fix it, but that is how it is going to be, and that the sound was always there. I once again, guaranteed that there was no sound when the watches were brought to them, and asked if I needed to have an ambulance personally bring me to the store on a stretcher to resolve the problem. He said yes. It just shows that they canāt own up to damaging/breaking someoneās fine jewelry or watch. Lost a valued customer of years and hopefully others that will now be aware of your business. Thank you for my broken watch Wilson...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took my $1200 Gucci Signoria watch to have the battery replaced. They did not seal the back of the watch correctly, as this watch is water resistant to 40 meters. The first time I took a shower the watch had water damage and stopped working.
I brought my watch back into the shop and tried to get me to pay them more money to fix what they broke. Then they insulted me and told me I didn't know what I was taking about. The anger escalated and ended with telling me to get out of their store and started cursing and calling me names, in front of customers no less.
Also, they were recommended to me by another company and therefore after I informed them of how their unethical business practices and now they have also lost all of the referrals of another company.
In the end, I called the police and made a report against the company and I also reported it to the management company of the mall.
To summarize, they are most unprofessional, dishonest and disrespectful company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. It is very apparent that these individuals do not have a college background and do not know the simple basics of business practices.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
I will now have to pay a "real jeweler" to...
