I had an unpleasant experience at Tinto today around 10:30 AM. I asked the lady working there if she knew where the nearest Starbucks was. She replied that she didn’t know, which is fine, but she didn’t make any effort to be friendly or engaging. A simple gesture like offering me a pastry or coffee instead could have been a great way to turn me into a customer, especially since I was clearly looking for a coffee shop.
On my way back after finding the Starbucks, I stopped to let her know where it was, thinking it might help someone else who asks in the future. She turned away and completely ignored me, which felt rude and unprofessional. It left a really negative impression of the place as unfriendly and unwelcoming. The employee was very kind, pleasant and fast- the food was just as amazing! 🤩 I got an espresso, empanada and pan de bono- and all were served fresh and hot 🔥 the lady even gave us delicious green sauce at no extra charge. If you’re Latino/latina you know how hard it is to get a well prepared empanada. This place is it.
