I went in to get a gel manicure and gel pedicure. I had just finish working out so I had sweat pants and a baggy t shirt on. (I say that because they are extremely favorable to those dressed like millionaire) anywho, they sat me down on a pedicure chair and had a young man by the name of Jackie to start on my feet. The whole time I was there they didn’t offer to show me the gel colors so that I can pick the one I want. Jackie had trouble making a shape and filing nails to match the opposite foot. He’s a sweet young man but for $126. Plus the tip that I left it wasn’t worth it. On my gel manicure and gel pedicure he only did one coat of the color and you can see my nail and it started too chip it’s only been two days. I was charged $126. That’s credit card fee I did the cat eye gel, and I gave Jackie a $20. Tip because I always tip. He tried but he didn’t offer me the Palmer experience I was looking for, he put lotion on my hand then got with the hot towel to tell me how much everything was rushing the whole situation. Honestly for a gel manicure and gel pedicure it’s not worth it, unless you walk in with designer brand and look like money maybe you’ll be treated better and given better service and quality work. Unfortunately it’s not a pass for me. Sorry I only write this review in regards to gel manicure and gel pedicure and the cat eye one specifically not worth it.
End of the day: I deserve two coats at least of product to make it last, (chipped second day and it’s so light you can see the white in my nail) in happy with the results. Definitely not worth $126. Plus the $20 tip...
Read moreI would not recommend this place. I went twice. I got cat eye once and it chipped. I went back a second time and got big apple red by OPI. She decided to put four coats on and two coats of topcoat. This was Monday it chipped by Tuesday after this when I went to salon, she fired me as a client because my nails were chipping and she couldn’t explain why… So she gave me some money back and basically told me to go somewhere else. Terrible customer service, they truly do not care about you or your needs or wants and unless you correct them, they will shape your nails however they want. But at the end of the day, the unprofessionalism that I experienced was by no doubt understandable, and I would highly recommend that nobody else visit the salon…. Try elite nail elite nailed it in Fort Lee...
