Binghamton Bagel & Deli — Restaurant in Fort Lee

Was looking for a place to eat and of course Jersey mikes is next door but we wanted to buy small business. My bf made an order over the phone we asked for a Cesar wrap we asked if it comes with fries because some places serve sandwiches or wraps with fries . They said no so we ordered a side of fries not a big deal we were still going to pay . My boyfriend went inside to get our order . He over heard the guy ask I’m guessing is the owner if fries come with sandwiches for free. Idk why he would say free but the woman started talking shi.t saying nothing is free and kept talking in Spanish and looking at my bf. As she talked bout him not knowing that my bf is Brazilian and understood everything she was saying bout him. And I was on the phone with him while he was there . She was so loud talking crap I could hear her . We were going to pay for our fries either way. So why get silly and loud . I can see why this place has a 2.8 rating. My bf walked out . We’re not going to spend money at a place who talks bout PAYING customers. We ended up going to another place and asked if fries came with the sandwiches and they said yes I’ve attached the pictures of the place who do GIVE fries with their sandwiches. Thank God this happen cause we would’ve never found this great restaurant called Eastern Kitchen. SO GOOD !! Anyways...

Used to go here all the time a couple years ago. Went this weekend and got a breakfast bagel, along with the turkey brie wrap and California avocado wrap. Paid and waited.

Apparently they didn’t have avocado - no offer to replace it, no idea as to what else to put in. So I asked them to throw in bacon instead. They also didn’t have Brie for the turkey Brie - no offer to replace it, no idea as to what else to put in. So I asked them to replace this also with bacon.

It was at this point I was told they couldn’t replace any of my items because bacon costs more than avocado or Brie. So I told them to cancel both and refund the money and was about to walk out when the cashier gives me the California wrap and says I should pay for it because they already put the bacon in. So I duly paid, got a refund for the turkey Brie and went to eat my hard-earned wrap.

Kicker was, my wrap didn’t have any avocado or bacon. Honestly, if they just offered to replace the ingredient with something else instead of the attitude of, “we don’t have it so too bad here’s what you ordered without the avocado and cheese” I probably would have been happy. But then to go home and find the soggy wrap without what they said they did was a bit tough.

I went to this place to buy an egg sandwich with Taylor ham, I ordered and the guy at the register was very rude, he started to tell me that he was going to charge an extra )3.00 Dollars for the ham and I told him you sign says egg and cheese sand with bacon, sausage or Taylor ham for 5.95 then he reply not you have to paid 3.00 more I told him ok but that’s not what the sign says anyway then he told me shut up if you don’t wanted just go, I told him you can’t tell me to ship up what’s your problem then the other guy give me the sand with bacon I told him Taylor ham and he reply the cashier told him bacon I was really upset And told him you can’t run a business like this, he ask me to leave using bad words. I’m writing this for the owner, you need new employees this guys follow the cashier guy and he was almost pushing me to the door.
