Ordered takeout from Uber eats, We got lost tres golpes ( three hits ) eggs, fried cheese, salami & the mangu of course, I got mofongo de Chicharron & I added queso frito ( fried cheese ). We got two empanadas of beer and two of cheese.. the cheese as you can see from the pictures was not a lot and whatever cheese is used melts completely onto the inside walls of the empanada. The sizes are very small to be paying 3$ for each little empanada to be honest.. I don’t even pay 3$ in New York City so I was a bit confused when I saw how minuscule they were.:.:. Then to top it off not even all that taste wise. Mofongo was dry, they added two little sauces but to be honest that only help for half of it after that I couldn’t eat it of how dry it was & there was no more sauces for the mofongo or mangu... juices were great I ordered a chinola juice ( passion fruits natural juice ) & a Morrir Soñando ( die dreaming // orange cream drink ) .. but got two chinola juices instead.... 🤔🙃😒🤨 so I was a tad sad about that but luckily I love both juices the same lol.

Food tasted good but they give VERY cheap portions, even of white rice when most restaurants usually give you too much rice. $15 for “lunch” special white rice, beef and 3 tiny pieces of sweet plantains. This is beyond inflation and food being expensive, it’s purely cheating your customers. UPDATE: CHILDISH response from the owner suggesting I can’t afford to eat out 😂. Super unprofessional, no wonder you only have 3.9 stars. FYI, i have given MULTIPLE restaurants 5 star reviews and only take time to write reviews when the experience is EXCELLENT or is BAD, in your case, TERRIBLE. Price gouging deserves to be called out. Grow up and focus on providing customers with what they’re paying for then maybe your restaurant will be in the 4 star range one day.

This review is long overdue! We moved to Fort Lee 4 years ago and were so happy to find Punta Cana on the day of our move. We ordered several lunch specials for our family and movers. Everything from the carne guisada to the rabo with moro de gandules was 10/10. Fresh and good portion sizes. On busy week nights we order the family special which includes a whole rotisserie chicken and feeds our family of 4 with leftovers. Food is always tasty and the restaurant is clean and service is efficient. They also make an amazing mangu con tres golpes! Highly recommend.

Dear owner, Am a person with integrity and I believe whoever does wrong to others eventually, karma will get you. But to anyone who’s reading this take ur biz else where. This patron shouldn’t be supported at all. He doesn’t care about ur needs or what you thinks. Their workers brake every Covid rules, and have some sort of ear problems cuz the music so loud there, that when you call to order basically their yelling over the phone. Or there’s family or friends members hanging out in the kitchen/front without a mask. Is no lie that 75% of the reviews of this restaurant are pretty much the same, so, there’s no negativity to be spread. Seems to me you haven’t gone thru all of them. THATS SAD!! I have ordered from this place twice and there’s always a problem, wether the order gets to me wrong, something is missing, and or an order is really small for the over priced food supposedly to be for two person be able to eat charging 28$ It’s an atrocity, NO TRUST! I understand we on different times and there’s food shortage but not to rip off ur clients without advising them. In the other hand your responses to clients are so vague and unprofessional, that you always have an excuse for everything. And in the resturant biz that doesn't work. Your lack of intelligence don’t understand that negatives comments shouldn’t be taken for granted but to turn it into a positive one for the welfare of your biz going forward. I will leave it as that Dear Patron! This is FORT LEE, NOT Washington Heights!!! You do deserve less than one ⭐️ NEGATIVE rate is sad to read all ur reviews!!!

“LA CHOZITA” is an authentic Dominican Restaurant and they also are on Doordash their food is very consistent, they listen to client and very polite. I have no biz on this biz but they deserve to be exposed for the real Dominican ppl who likes to be treated...

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I placed an order through Uber eats. The eggs burnt. The mangu swimming in oil. The onions were rotten. We also ordered tres leches cakes. They didn't have any but instead of calling us to let us know, they just sent whatever they felt like sending. I called and spoke to some lady. I wish I would've gotten her name and told her our order is not edible. It was disgusting. She said she would call her manager and call us back. She didn't call us back so I called again. She said she gave the manager our phone number and we have to wait for his call. I asked if they deliver and she said they do but the manager has to call us. What kind of manager is running this place? If a customer calls and expresses how unhappy they are with the quality of the food from your restaurant, you would think a manager would call asap or at least send us another order. Not have the customer wait until whenever they feel like getting back to us. Horrible customer service. Horrible food. Would advise to look elsewhere if you want good, quality food and customer service. Will never order...
