Just a bunch of kids from high school hanging out. I am on 10th dud replacement phone. Purchased from local ATT store. Warranty and insured through asurion their corporate owner. Pro techs could not solve problems on phone recommended I take phones there and the techs would diagnose and repair for no cost since I had paid my deductible.
Not only did they not diagnose they would not look at the phones unless I paid them 90 bucks for a google backup Seriously. The kid at counter and tech in back who looked about 15 were rude disrespectful and told me they were not affiliated with asurion or ATT to take phones back to Store purchased insist they repair phone. They are USELESS.
In the end I researched and diagnosed the problem myself. Asurion was sending me the wrong version replacement phones. You cannot transfer higher version to lower version. It is in the ATT technical manual. The technology software hardware are all different thus each time it was transferred from. version 11 to version 10 it did not transfer all my info and actually deleted my info in both phones and glitches are in every program.
Oh when I arrived at ATTStore every person who was at UBREAKIFIX was also back at ATT. U BREAKIFIX is a scam. They take advantage of vulnerable customers . Every time I have to call the shop to check the status of my phone. They donāt even call the number I left them on file to update us on the status of the phone. The young man at the front desk has told us several different excuses as to why my phone is not ready: the wrong part was ordered, the part was delayed, the wrong part showed up to the store, the list goes on and on! I finally got tired of it and demanded a discount because not only did I have to PURCHASE a temporary phone, Iāve had to wait to retrieve all of my old phones info onto a different phone! I rely on my phone to run my business and personal life and this store has made the last three weeks simply STRESSFUL! Touch was still as normal. I had it replaced and after some use I feel like touch lags sometimes. Maybe something is wrong with my digitizer but it just didn't seem that way prior to the replacement. I really could be wrong. Only one thing really bothered me..after the glass was replaced - iPhone color was really off. I have another iPhone as a work phone and I could just tell it was different. I also noticed that when someone called and I put my phone to my ear the screen would not shut off so I was hitting numbers and face timing the other end on accident. I looked at the phone and noticed one of the sensors covered by this glass they replaced it with. The tech replaced it with another glass and that definitely fixed the problem with the sensor but my color was still off. The only other thing I could think of is that it's the brand of the glass they choose to use compared to the glass your apple is initially created with.
