This pharmacy used to be great. The staff was always helpful and friendly, and they offered price matching and accepted discount cards. Not to mention their pharmacy rewards. They have now switched all of their pharmacies to CVS. CVS does not price match, they do not have rewards, and they don't honor discount cards. One of my prescriptions went from $4 a month to over $40. I won't be back. FYI- as much as I hate Walmart, I did some shopping around and they are the cheapest.
I didn't shop at Walmart for about 7 years. Every time I went in to one, I left angry and with nothing. The employees were rude, the prices weren't actually lower, and there were 2 cashiers for the 20 people trying to checkout. I became a Target shopper. I used your pharmacy, bought groceries there, housewares, clothes, etc. Recently, you switched to CVS pharmacies and discontinued price matching and rewards. That was annoying. Then I started noticing your clothing prices were not inexpensive, your store brand is higher than name brand items in many cases. SO, I decided to try Walmart again. They changed my prescriptions over and were extremely helpful, and accepted my drug discount card. This wasn't the Walmart I remembered. My month of prescriptions at Target was $38/month (this was when you were still price matching. My month of prescriptions now would be $75). Walmart? $13. The differences were everywhere- I asked an employee where a section was and he directed me to it (this seems small, but in the past, they have only looked at me dumbfounded that I would ask something of them), the clothing was 50-70% lower than Target for the same quality, and the store was clean and well organized. I will now be doing my household shopping at Walmart. This is not a criticism in any way of Target employees. The pharmacy has always been helpful in the past, but your prices are too high. I will encourage everyone I know to...
Read moreI went to get my meds(about 4 of them) and it was 125pm right before they went to lunch..I have a prescription plan with a $5.00 co pay and I was never told that 1 of my meds did not go thru my insurance.. it was denied.. but I did not find this out until I got home and read thru the accompanying brochures.. never told why or what.. when I saw this u called the store and was told they got me the lowest price they could and nothing could be done..I couldn't return them either.. so being in a fixed income i now have to eat the extra money that I laid out.. it seems that the pharmacy reps couldn't take a bit of time to explain all this and it's apparent they don't care!! I wish we could go back to Walgreens and all my meds would be covered there.. this is the 3rd problem I've had with CVS..I am so fed...
Read moreI went to CVS which is in Target near me. The gentleman who helped me was incredibly patient, helpful and kind. He helped lower one of my meds from 130 dollars to 28 dollars. He then helped me with my husbands meds. There was a discrepancy in the timing of the medication so I left, got to my car and then went back in. He was still patient with me and not at all bothered that I came to the counter three times. Each time was important. He should be commended for his knowledge and patience. I don’t know his name but I did tell him myself how impressed I was that he remained calm and kind and not irritated at my questions etc. I also thanked him and wished...
