Debated months and doing this! But feel that I need to let people know how Mangement treats mistakes. Back in October 2023 after church a group of 12 people gathered here. We’ve always been very pleased with their food . It’s always been delicious and one of the best! Pastor, Pastor, and my husband decided to split the check. We told the waitress what we wanted to do with no problem. The check came my husband and the pastor gave their credit card and paid. Never looked at the receipt! I’ve always stressed my husband to check receipts! But of course he didn’t. After we got home, we mentioned how My husband said wow that was very expensive for three pieces and two orders of chicken wings(Almost $200) Since We live in lehigh and don’t go to Fort Myers often. A week later I went in and spoke to the manager.(Scott) Explain the situation. I took him copies of our transaction from our check account. Including the pastors. He was very polite and said that he would look into it. Two weeks, and I never heard from him so I went back. He informed me that his bookkeeper had only found one transaction. Plus, the transactions were not of the same amount. That he needed to see the bank statements! I explained that the copies that I sent you were the transactions from the bank statements. He said he didn’t care he needed to see the bank statements. I informed him that the difference in the amounts were probably because my husband had added a different amount of tip to the waitress as what the pastor had done. (Common sense!!??) He refused to accept that!! My Pastor may not feel comfortable in giving me a copy of his bank statement! He was very arrogant and said he needed to see the bank statement. Period.!!!! I took him a copy of our bank statement, but our Pastor was not able to. He had some personal things happen. He was out of town and busy. I do admit the food here is very good not a problem! But Mangement, Scott, as a manager was not capable or sensitive to solving this situation I personally made about 4 trips there to show him our Statement and speak to him. If it had been $5 or $10. That would’ve been no issue, but overcharging us $100 at this time and age is very hurtful. As a Christian I don’t wish him nothing but the best. My advice to everyone is make sure you look at your receipts before leaving any establishment. Some managers of small establishments are just not honest....
Read moreFirst time going to Tony's.. My brother and I went there on Friday evening about 6pm. We walked in the place it was packed. No sign saying please wait to be seated. So we walked up to the counter. The girl behind the counter had a look like we were annoying her cuz we didn't know what we wanted right away. (No one was behind us waiting) We thought we'd grab a slice or two and sit down we didn't realize we had to walk up and asked them that we needed a table FIRST. Why? Because BEFORE our food came out I said to the girl we're going to grab that table. She replied that the people standing up are waiting for that table. I said okay, we'll take that one over there because that gentleman is leaving. She replied you can take the table until someone comes in then you would have to give it up because you asked for your order to go. We never even told her the order was to go we just ordered a couple slices and a salad she never asked if it was for here or to go. Then before we left my brother said to the girl the people that are waiting on that table there's bar stools tables over there where they're standing we like to sit there but the people are in the way she said yes because they're waiting on a table so because they're waiting on a table they can take up bar stool table for eating purposes until there is available table without ordering anything? . I'm sorry in my world the place should have had a designated area for people to sit to wait for a table sitting at a Barstool table for eating purposes is not a waiting station. So we ate outside under a tent with no fan nothing to cool yourself off in this summer heat. A customer came outside heard our conversation with the girl behind the counter to get a table and said sorry for what happened to you guys they finally told those people they're going to need to free up that area for people to sit to eat....smh Plus on top of that the fountain drinks are nasty especially the water one that tasted like straight up city water filled with chemicals and there was no ice. There was an ice chest a foot away.. When it came to the food my pizza was cold they never even heated it up my brother's salad looked like somebody threw it up and threw it in the to-go box. New York style pizza? Riiiight! Tony's a fraud! Bottom line the place sucks! I don't recommend it. Save your money go...
Read moreI'm new to swfl, born and raised in NY. We conveniently live on Forum. Order slices from here all the time. And tonight we decided to grab a pie and some bruschetta. I placed the order online for a pickup time of 6:15pm. When we got there it was packed and super busy, so a 5-10 minute wait would've been understandable. I gave my info and confirmed the order at 6:15. Waited patiently as I saw at least 5 other people come and go for online orders. There were 2 floor managers walking around asking those customers if they needed help or were waiting. Not a single time was I approached by one. Mind you, I'm waiting with my 7 y.o. son, trying to keep him patient. At 6:40, I approached the one floor manager to inquire on my order. Then watched the lady who took my info when I got there tell the manager she's been trying to get the owner to grab order #28, but he "wasn't listening". Our pizza was boxed and ready to go the ENTIRE 25 minutes I stood there with my child, patiently waiting. I was given the pizza box and not 1 single employee out of the cashier, 2 floor managers and the owner apologized for the inconvenience. I literally stood there with my mouth wide open and asked, "Are y'all serious?!" At which point I was told to "have a good night". Not only was this a terrible experience, but probably one of the most unprofessional and lacked any accountability. I would suggest starting with, "our apologies for the inconvenience" and possibly offering a discount on a future pie. Because now I will gladly drive farther for a "NY" pizza, if it means I never have to give my business and support to this pizzeria ever again. In my NY accent, 0/10 do NOT recommend!...
