The kids working here are all friendly however, uncouth and a little ill-mannered. I say this because one young man was behind the counter picking his teeth with his fingernail he had a glove on one hand and holding another glove in his hand. One of the petite young girls wearing a red shirt, told him to quit picking his teeth and use a toothpick and then she had to instruct him to go wash his hands before he did anything else. He seemed to be giving her a little bit of a hard time but did as she asked. He did about a 2-second hand wash though which is not sufficient. The second scenario was one of the older of the ladies working there, and I don't mean old, probably late 20s early 30s, was on a step stool dropping boxes from the top of a cabinet. When she dropped the first one it made it extremely loud bang disrupting the whole restaurant. There were at least three other people standing around that could have taken the boxes from her instead of her dropping them to the floor.
I needed to wash my hands and use the restroom before I ordered my food and the bathroom could have used a little tlc. The toilet was not flushing correctly. The sink did not have an aerator on it and so when you turned on the faucet water sprayed all over and splattered my shirt. One of the soap containers was empty.
My food tasted very good but the meat was not distributed well. The meat was globbed right in the middle of the bun so if you took bites on the outside you got nothing but bread...
Read moreSo apparently this location had a flood recently and the door stated that it is only open for carry out. Fine. I rushed in from the rain not seeing that sign to find this out after I got my food and not wanting to go back out in the rain while I ate with my guest who met me here we stood near the door at the bar top out of the way while it was raining attempting to eat quickly and escape back out into the rain. Skip back to when I was ordering I literally watched the cashier berate a customer about a comment he had made regarding Subway and she just kept saying our subs are better than Subway over and over to the point the customer was uncomfortable. Fast forward to a different girl who says something to my guest and me as we plan on just eating at this bar standing up instead of running out in the rainy weather with our food. Another unruly employee said we had to leave because their big boss was watching the cameras. I explained the situation with the weather and I just asked we finish but the employees began trying to tag team on me why we should just leave. If there is a problem big enough that people can't be in the dining room then you should close your doors! Teach your employees some customer service skills especially to an Army veteran on the army's birthday! Subway is much better as I've NEVER had such service at the multiple locations I've visited throughout the United States. Good riddance Firehouse...
Read moreI had a horrible experience at Firehouse Subs at the Forum (3398 Forum Blvd, Suite 116, Ft. Myers, FL 33905). I was picking up my order, and while waiting, I grabbed a cookie, two bags of chips, and two cups, intending to pay after pouring my drinks and adding more items.
Then, the so-called manager, Knece, rudely confronted me in front of everyone, saying, âYou have a cookieâare you going to pay for it?â The way she said it made it seem like I was trying to steal. At that point, I hadnât even received my order, which was around $30. I approached her to clarify the situation, and her response was beyond unprofessional. She dismissed me, saying, âBro, all I did was ask you about a cookie.â
That was the last straw. I gave her the cookie back, and she rudely tossed it behind the counter. When I asked for her name and the corporate phone number, she refused to give me any real information, just saying, âItâs on the website and figure out .â Later, I called again, and a friend asked for the actual managerâs nameâit turns out itâs Mandy Chayman. And on top of that, my order was wrong This is no way to treat a paying customer, especially someone who has ordered from them multiple times. But not anymoreâI will...
