Hibbett — Local services in Fort Oglethorpe

Came into the store less than a week ago. Purchased a pair of shoes for my daughter and while purchasing the correct size I needed was unavailable. I asked the salesman (younger gentleman in his 20's with brown shaggy hair) if these didn't work then could we return them? Of which he assured me yes. We arrived to our destination from purchasing the shoes, my daughter put them on and ran to the soccer field (turf mind you) and immediately said they hurt and we put them in the box and I went to return them today. I was told the shoes were WET and had an ODOR and that we wouldn't be able to return until a manager approved them...The shoes literally had remained in the box, still look brand new and have zero wetness or odor present. I will not be returning to this store as the same gentleman who sold them to me was the one making this suggestion and refusal of the return. Three individuals confirmed that the shoes had no wetness or odor (outside of smelling new) on them what so ever upon departure of leaving the establishment. The in store shopping experience was really great. But I ordered my son’s football cleats online because his grandpa wanted to buy them and that was a mess. My father received a order confirmation but the order was cancelled because of and I quote the hibbett representative I called to see why the order had not shown up “ The order was canceled because of inconsistencies in the order”. Unfortunately when ordering online sports equipment I’ll use Amazon from now on and walk into the local Hibbett store when...

Came in and these kids are immediately laughing uncontrollably over and over at what they are looking at on their phones. Then they go into the back together and leave one associate left on the floor. I made a comment about it and she says we're all just real good friends. Problem with that is you're at work this isn't social hour. Kids these days. Smh.Any other time you'd probably have them being overzealous and observing you too much to where it's an uncomfortable...
