Burgundy's Local — Local services in Fort Worth

Food was VERY good. A friend with a Gluten sensitivity is what brought me here. They have 100% celiac friendly burgers. Friend said that the GF bun was one of the best she had experienced. I had the chili dog, and it was well worth it, quite flavorful frank and the chili was so tasty as well. Grilled onions and cheddar were good, but the onions didn't add much to the dog.

I've only given three stars because of what I witnessed as we were getting up to leave. A lady walked in (an hour before the advertised closing time), and they had already shut down the kitchen. (Incidentally, there are other places in FW that this has happened). They turned her away, and she seemed to be a repeat customer. She was told that they would probably be closing early from then on.

The cashier told the cook that "I guess she won't be coming back," to which the cook replied, "good...I don't care." This is not how to treat customers, and especially not how to speak about them.

I have patronized this institution since it opened. Have returned numerous items in the past without issue. Today I attempted to return an olive oil I bought yesterday that is unopened and they claimed they 'don't accept returns'.

Clearly the Fort Worth location is under new management and that management is destroying the reputation of this once pristine business.

People who don't stand behind their products don't deserve customers that stand behind their institution.

I will no longer patronize this business the way I once did.

Good country folk used to run this place that took care of folks.

I visited Burgundy's for the first time today and was immediately greeted. I was on the hunt for the perfect beef short ribs and found exactly what I was looking for. Before I left I decided to look for a good Steak and let me tell you, I found one. This is by far the best steak I have ever had. The kind of Steak that truly doesn't need any sauce.
