Whataburger — Restaurant in Fort Worth

We've had relatives and friends working at a Whataburger at various times which has given me an insight into the business model. The jobs pay little but folks don't want to leave. One friend stayed loyal to serving even while complaining bitterly about her boss's ill-mannered treatment of her. Regardless, the burgers, breakfast dishes, and now, the salads are always well prepared. I've never had to return food or go back for something the servers forgot. Generally, the staff is friendly and helpful. Our outlet in the Cultural District is a super clean well managed spot we're accustomed to picking up a quick meal once or twice a month. The salads are my favorite. Large and scrumptious. It's the cranberries smothering fun chick bites with a wide variety of greens. I seldom wolf it down in one sitting. The salads are fresh enough to make it to the next meal. My other favorites are the egg wraps served after 10. I do wolf these down! Then the classic onion rings will be my yummy snack choice! Hubby loves the chocolate shake. He won't share. He'll buy you one of your own and if it's too much he'll happily assist. Went to see the Toadies at Billy Bob's. After stopped at Whataburger to use the restroom and grab a drink for the road. I suffer from Sciatica and had been packing at my mom's house the few days before. Purchased a chocolate malt small and a large coke for my husband. The Sciatica makes it hard to bend or move the hips. When getting in the car the long straw hit the door jamb above due to Not being able to move my his or bend at the waist. The straw went thru the bottom and before I could stop it half my malt was on the ground. This was my only meal all day. My friend went into the store to get another cup and asked them to fill it back up. They just put another cup under and said that it was on me that the straw went thru the cup. The straw caused a round while about 2 inches in diameter because they are so long and large. Will no longer go to this location. Used drive-through got my order noticed i didn't get my onion rings, drove around parked went inside and showed the person at the counter my recipe and told him I didn't get my onion rings he goes and talk to the manager ,she walks up and ask if there was a problem i said yes and explained again 3rd time she ok just give me a minute she goes into her office in the meantime I notice no one was attempting to get my rings or dropping in a freash batch ,the manager come out 3 minutes later and then tells her employee to drop the rings i ask why the delay she said the employee said to her that he gave me my full order,so she had to check the cameras because they felt i was lieing and trying to get a free onion rings.
