This has by far been the worst brunch spot I’ve been to. My friends and I decided to try a new brunch spot on this side of Fort Worth after hearing it was a newer location that just opened up. The wait was not bad for we joined the waitlist online. As we approached the front desk area to check in, we were asked to wait outside since there is no wait area inside. As we got the text to come back in after 7 minutes, we were placed at a table that was harder to get to but absolutely didn’t mind for we are not that high maintenance to really care. When we sat down, it took a bit for our waiter to get to us which is understandable for a Sunday brunch hour. About 15 mins later the waiter finally came and took our order. A good amount of time had passed and the food runner comes and brings our food. But for some reason didn’t want to take the extra step to either put each dish on the table so she stands there waiting for us to extend our hand to grab it from her….the waiter never then checks on us until the end where we are almost done eating as we needed water for we were only drinking the sangria. The food was so unflavorful and bland! As the waiter finally comes…we ask for a glass of water each. He then comes back 10 minutes later as we are already to just grab the check and leave. He drops it off and just walks away. Just before we could even pour the water we look at the cups and they’re all dirty! One of the glasses even had food particles on the rim. We then had to wait another 10 minutes just to wait for the check! I would not recommend coming back to this location nor even recommending it to anyone! The only thing that was great was the sangria and yet I still wonder if the glasses used for that...
Read moreThe boy and I had brunch for the first time here yesterday after our dental visit.
The boy had the BEC, bacon, egg, cheddar sandwich, and potatoes.
I had the TRI-FECTA, eggs, Belgian waffle, and ham. It also had a ramekin of blueberry compote.
My eggs were cooked to perfection. Silky and smooth, best scrambled eggs I’ve ever eaten.
The maple syrup is served warm. The sprinkle of powered sugar, warm syrup and the blueberry compote all in one bite is definitely “money.”
Even the coffee was delicious.
The potatoes were perfect as well as being a generous portion.
And add to the experience, outstanding service from our server Ruth.
I can’t wait to go back and try other items that looked so delicious on the website menu.
Let’s get to the bottom line here, this is now our favorite breakfast stop. Nobody even close for the price.
Do yourself a favor and try First Watch yourself, then come back here and...
Read moreAt 7:55 am, I called as I was walking my dog asked if they were dog friendly. The person that answered the phone says yes we have a patio. As I was walking up, I saw an employee and asked what I needed to do because I had my dog. She said she would let someone know. The hostess immediately came out put a menu in front of me and some silverware. But then I sat for about 6 minutes and 3 or 4 wait staff walked past with water and plates, not one of them asked if I had been helped yet. So me and my dog got up and left. Very disappointed at the service. 😥 it wasn't even that busy. Some of staff were standing around chatting as opposed to being aware of their customers. Then as I was leaving, the two ladies that were in there at the hostess stand chatting saw me leaving and looked concerned, but it was too late and we were...
