PLAYTOS CLOSET is the true definition of you get what you pay for. I arrived here at 630 I asked for a bin to hold my items and when I was ready I went up up to the front at 7:50 to try on. due to policy fitting rooms are closed. (They really should put a sign that says their fitting rooms close at a certain time) However the only announcement they made was that the store was closing in 30 minutes. I asked for my bin and the girls had already put my stuff back! I physically never left the store and my items were put back so I donât understand why someone didnât tell me anything. I was walking up and down the aisles shopping so itâs hard to miss me. One of the girls was asking what was it, what size was it. Instead of going through all those unnecessary questions just donât touch the bin until the customer comes back up, or at least ask the customer if they still want their items bc the store is going to close. I literally never left the store and my stuff was put back! At least a heads up before putting the clothes I picked out back on the racks. Imagine you spend an hour picking out an outfit and then you find out itâs been put back on the racks. Due to policy I wasnât able to try on the clothes I had picked out while I was shopping and I was unable to try on the clothes in the bin because they were put back.. but some customer was able to sneak in and get a fitting room. I asked one of the girls so can I get a fitting room since she just got one? their response was âoh she wasnât supposed to do thatâ and proceeded to do whatever they were doing. The girl with the unflattering color in her hair who checked me out had an attitude and didnât tell me have a good night or enjoy your night. she just placed the reciept in the bag and slid it over to me didnât say anything to me. i stopped coming to Platoâs due to their lack of customer service and little variety. But I gave it another shot. I know remember why I donât shop at...
Read moreI went in to buy some items return one and sell some. Out of 2 full garbage bags of all name brand clothing that i thoroughly checked for any stains rips ect they bought one item. The manager on duty matt said they were all in and i quote grotesque condition, now keep in mind this was lucky brand, fox, dc, ect. Then i found my item and went to exchange it, of course the same ignorant man Matt decided to tell me that the tag was not in the right place and i must have taken it off and replaced it because all of their tags are under the airpit only. Now keep in mind it is literally impossible to take off the plastic double sided tags and put it in another location, when i asked how exactly do you think i could have possible done that he followed to say i have no idea but i know you did. So i spent the next 45 min walking around the store finding every item i could that had the tag NOT under the armpit. I ended up with about 45 items. When i requested to speak with him and told him he may want to retag those before he falsly calls someone else a liar he said clearly his employees werent doing their jobs. Rather than apologizing for calling me a liar. I also requested to see the jumper i returned to show him that every junper i found that were not "properly tagged" were ALL in the same spot. He showed no remorse for his false accusation, blamed his staff and then laughed and refused to give me a nunber to file a formal complaint about his lack of professionalism. I am a general manager, not a measly shift manager like him and if i ever treated a customer that way i would be fired on the spot. I will never return to that store again as long as he is employed there. He also doesnt put his name on recipts which at my company is against protocal, he goes my MSM most likely to avoid people knowing his real name because he would have been...
Read moreToday marked my first (and last) visit to this store as a previously loyal customer. I came in to sell some online purchases, as it wasn't worth the time or money to send them back. Despite a 2-hour wait, I browsed and picked some items to buy. When it was time to complete my transactions, a young lady in a pink shirt shocked me by offering only $5.40 for my new, unworn items that perfectly met their criteria. Her tone was dismissive as she told me I didnât have to accept the offer, not giving me a moment to process the information.
Later, after trying on clothes, another incident occurred with a different staff member named ASC. She interrupted me abruptly, instructing me to get in the correct line without allowing me to explain my situation, showing unnecessary rudeness twice during our interaction.
At checkout, the first young lady rang up my items incorrectly, totaling $38 instead of the correct $23 before tax. I then proceeded to questioned the total because I had an item for $15, $5 and an item for $3 making my total $23 before tax, she corrected it to $24.90 with evident annoyance.
Overall, the unprofessional behavior I experienced from the staff during my visit was disappointing and frustrating. I appreciate Plato's Closet for their products but cannot overlook the poor customer service, which ensures I...
