Let’s be clear: the food itself- especially the rosemary garlic fries- is incredibly DELICIOUS! The reasoning for this low rating goes far beyond their excelsior food. I’ll start with my first experience here, March 2020, right before the pandemic. Absolutely thrilled with my experience, the staff was undeniably courteous, and the dining experience was superb. I literally DREAMED of the garlic rosemary fries for months after the fact. Due to the pandemic, however, I was not able to return until recently. I had hyped this restaraunt up so much to several of my other blogger & foodie friends and family. Therefore, we all discussed and decided that we were going to make some reservations- of which we were pointed towards a third party app which would not seat us at a reasonable time. So, I decided to call in, making the reservation for 4 was simple enough. However, one day later I had learned 2 more people wanted to join our little venture back to Pacific Table Fort Worth. I called and explained that I had reservations and would like to make a change. I repeated this several times, with another customer on the SAME LINE as I was. The employee was unable to discern what either of us was saying, and asked one of us to hang up. The customer rudely asked me to hang up, and proclaimed “my reservations are in 20 minutes, so they are more important than yours!” That in of itself was incredibly off-putting. Why not just switch lines? Or ask for assistance? Instead, this employee decided to hang up on me & when I called back, I did not receive a response for another 10 minutes. Finally, a woman by the name of Brenda picked up, she asked how she might be able to assist me. I explained my situation YET AGAIN, and asked that they add two people onto my reservation. She said that they had zero availability and could not change my reservation. I asked to speak with the manager as we had all planned around this reservation. I sat on “hold” for around 15 minutes before I realized no one was coming. I hung up, and called again. The same woman- Brenda- picked up the phone, “how may I help you?” to which I replied, “I was waiting on the manager?” and she puts me on hold again. For another 10 minutes. I hung up, and called again, although this time it gives me something along the lines of the number not being in service. As if she had blocked my number. So, I decided to call from an alternative number. Instantly, the phone was answered- she had blocked my number! How rude! I simply stated “I’m still waiting on the manager,” and she puts me on hold. Thankfully, someone else picked up the phone and said “how may I help you?” and when I asked for the manager- she got him! Unfortunately, the manager was superiorly unprofessional, and actually kept telling me that they were filled to the brim the entirety of the weekend- so they could not change any reservations- and in fact needed to cancel mine. I refused and I explained to him that I needed these two extra slots as this was a business related trip. He still refused, and then ended up getting nasty. I hung up and refused to call again. Fast forward to the weekend, and we arrive. JUST 4 of us, since they refused to add more seats. They had a bit of trouble finding our reservation, but sat us promptly. Our waitress, Laura, was magnificent. The restaraunt was near empty. No reason why they could not have changed our reservation to allow 2 more people. After our orders were taken, we sat for a while waiting on the food. About 45 minutes. After we received the food, one piece of mahi mahi was served COLD! We requested that our waitress have them remake it. After about 30 minutes more, she brings it back out and it is the same piece reheated. Not to mention how dirty the floors were. How ridiculous and low class. I honestly expected more from this restaraunt, but it is...
Read moreComing in I was greeted by a nice gal at the front, but she spent more time fumbling with a mask than learning my name or understanding I had a reservation. Ordered the veggie sushi. The pieces of carrot, cucumber, avocado are the size I would take an individual bite of each so you can imagine how chunky and difficult eating one after another in sushi form was. I eventually broke it down and ate it veggie piece by veggie piece. I wasn't able to get a small plate to place my "sushi" on after dipping (just etiquette here). Cuts are completely uneven and half-hearted. Owner didn't seem too concerned with the boulders of veggies I received, but at least she smiled under her mask, I think. Sushi bar is located at the kitchen which is a bit of a chaotic environment for a civilian maybe wanting to have a peaceful dinner, as for me being a chef; I was right in my element. However, it is so in your face you almost feel like you need to jump up and start working. Music was nice, but a tad low so you can really only hear thumps. Ordered the Pecan Veggie Burger. It's not a burger. It just falls apart before you even touch it. At best it's a warm quinoa salad on a burger bun. Thinking the cheese is supposed to be the glue to help keep its shape until it arrives to you. Heavy on the overly sweet glaze atop said burger... This is for someone who really and I mean really likes SWEET and savory. Ordered the ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Give it a moment to thaw otherwise you'll need a chainsaw to get a bit. I'm slightly disappointed the chocolate syrup isn't made in house. Sure would be lovely with a ganache, but definitely something my kiddo would enjoy. - Note: I received the owners attitude earlier in the visit as too busy to care, but once she slowed down a tad you can see she is fully invested in this restaurant- but she really needs a better staff. It was pleasant to see her cheer on her kitchen staff even though one thing after another had an issue. A good boss brings you up and supports you... wish they cared more for her business
All in all - I would say Pacific Table in Fort Worth, is a comfortable place to dine that marries the charm of Fort Worth to a Saturday night out with your neighbors or friends from church. The building interior itself is nicely decorated with a touch of 1995 lettuced sushi display and plastic swordfish that quickly reminds you where you are. With a little more heart and care from its employees this place could really rock. Kitchen could use a good scrub, but nothing that would scare you off or...

I will never patronize Pacific Table Fort Worth again.
On Friday, May 9th, I visited for a late working lunch with a coworker. From the moment I walked in, I was ignored, dismissed, and excluded from nearly every exchange. I am a Black woman with natural hair and was casually dressed — and from the way I was treated compared to my white coworker, it was painfully clear that my presence was unwelcome.
The staff barely acknowledged me, including the hostess Brittany, who brushed me off mid-conversation to take a phone call, while fully engaging with my coworker. Our server later assumed I had left without paying — even though I had given my credit card to another server and left all of my belongings at the table. She returned while I was in the restroom and confronted my coworker as if I were trying to dine and dash. When I asked for clarification, she said, “I thought YOU left,” despite holding my card and seeing my things at the table. It was humiliating and offensive.
The situation only got worse. Our server became avoidant, service stopped, and we were made to feel like we were in the wrong — for their mistake. When we asked to speak with a manager, Brittany returned and told us it was a “misunderstanding” and that “our waitress was upset.” When we calmly expressed how unacceptable the treatment was, Brittany escalated the situation, falsely accused us of using “vulgarities,” and asked us to leave. I was stunned.
Another manager, whose name I believe was Caylie or Kylie, came out but offered nothing but vague apologies. No one took accountability. I left feeling disrespected, humiliated, and incredibly hurt.
As someone who frequents the Southlake and Los Colinas locations, I’ve never experienced anything like this. This experience is in stark contrast to the level of hospitality I’ve consistently received at the Los Colinas location, where Thomas Nellen and his team have always been professional, accommodating, and service-oriented. They exemplify what service in your industry should look like and have earned my continued loyalty — which made my experience at the Fort Worth location all the more shocking and disappointing.
What happened at the Fort Worth location felt discriminatory, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone, and I will...
