if you’re a person of color and you need your hair done.. don’t come here. I left out looking exactly how I came. A mess. I called first and asked if she had a specific color to dye my hair, she said she did. Got there, she didn’t have it. The shampoo was rushed. Mind you, nobody was in the salon waited. She blow dried me then flat ironed my hair. She brought the flat iron over my hair so many times only for me to still walk out with puffy hair. If you don’t know how to do certain textured hair, then speak up. She charged me $80 for this mess. This shop needs to be closed down! I had to find a walk in salon in Eureka that had to fix her mess. They said my hair still had...

I came in with a picture of a style that I wanted and the owner-stylist nailed it. The last time I had my hair cut & styled was 5 years ago (someplace else), cost me $80 and was horrible. My cut today cost just $35. She spritzed my hair with water, cut it, applied a little styling mousse, scrunched it, and my new neck length wavy bob appeared. No frills, no fuss, no bother. In and out in 25 minutes. Perfect for ordinary people like this 70 y.o. woman with thick, unruly hair. I'll be back in 4 months for a trim.

Do not go here, went in and asked for a trim and layers, my hair was down to my waist. She chopped my hair off to below my shoulders a week before my birthday after I told her I've been growing it out for 5 years. Added some pictures for comparison. Maybe its me but I wouldn't call that a trim.

Update: It’s been almost a year since I left this review and my curls still have not returned to how they looked before the cut. Will never NOT not recommend this place especially if you have curly hair, she will...
