The hair stylist assigned to me didnât listen to what I wanted. She did cut off 3 inches total from the back which was fine but I had also asked for layers which she didnât give me because she said I already had them (I wanted them shorter and showed her references of what I wanted). I also wanted bangs with face framing side pieces to my chin and she made them uneven and one side was too long. (She did all of this in 15 min, it felt like she was rushing to get me out) this was also my first time here. I even asked her if they were even and looked in the mirror while messing with my bangs and she said âyes theyâre evenâ The forehead bangs were fine but it was the side pieces on the side of my face that were not good at all. I went home and even tried to style my hair to see if after styling it would make a difference and you could definitely tell it was uneven. My husband and my friends all noticed. I felt like she wasnât listening, I just wanted to get out of there. She also had outward opinions of my hair which wasnât necessary to say like how damaged my hair looked at the ends and how much split ends I had. I already knew this hence why I wanted a haircut. She was very vocal about how I needed to condition better (I know this). I was hoping to leave the salon feeling better about myself but it did the opposite. I was hoping since this salon was 4.4 stars that I would have a good experience but I did not.
I just now looked and read old reviews and saw one about her with someone who had the same experience as me. This is unfortunate and I hope she doesnât continue not listening to people. Just give them what they ask for.
Iâm gonna have my friend come over this weekend to try and fix it for me. This is exactly why I donât like going to hair salons. The last time I went to one was two years ago because of this I never feel...
Read moreHad a hair cut at this location and went back the next week for the foil highlights when they were having a "special." Stylist wrote down my appointment for the wrong week, so when I arrived to have my highlights, was told to come back in 2 hours because they wrote down the wrong date and time for my appointment. Discussed the color I wanted (light/cool tones with no yellow or gold tones). After removing the foils and washing my hair, I was told it would be another $5.01 extra to dry my hair. Not "style" my hair, but just to "dry" my hair. What kind of salon does not include drying the hair in the color process? How does the customer even know what the color is when hair is wet? As it turned out none of the highlights were "blonde".... they were all light brown and gold toned. Exactly what I did NOT want. Note also when the foils were put in my hair and I was put under the heat dryer, that's when I was given a disclaimer to sign stating they were not responsible to the outcome of the hair. Nice time to let you know they take no responsibility. My stylist was unfortunately in the front of the shop.... so my entire procedure was stop/start.... stop/start... while she went back and forth to the reception counter to answer questions, take payments and make appointments. Even though I went on a weekday, the place was crawling with little children milling around, making noise and endless kiddie haircuts. Would never go back and the price was the same as the regular price for foils when they added on the extra charge to be able to leave with dry hair. So Buyer Beware. This salon does not even care what you look like when you leave their salon. Great advertising for their services!! It has been over a week and no one has called back regarding the horrible carrot/brown highlights I now have courtesy of...
Read moreWhen I made the appt, I asked for not only their best perm person, I asked for someone who was good at perms and ENJOYED doing them. I've had perms since the late 1970s. This is by FAR the worst perm ever. I went back after 4 or 5 days (after my first wash) to show sections that were straight and flat. All she did was ARGUE with me. She said that I need to DRENCH my hair in the mornings...not just spritz it with water. I let her know that I can't walk around with wet hair every morning. She said I need to scrunch it. I told her that scrunching straight hair is not going to make it curly. She washed my hair, used moisturizer, and told me that all she saw were curls. (She wouldn't admit that my perm was sh^t.) She said the top of my head was over processed. I reminded her that the perm cost me $150 and I gave her a 20% tip. She was very snippy the entire time, never admitting there were a lot of straight sections. She said she has 30 years experience. Please understand, this isnt a "wait a few months, itll grow out" situation. Its a perm. An extremely, extremely bad perm. No money back, no offer to reperm the straight sections. P.S. Before the perm began, she kept suggesting a perm that looks "natural" instead of looking like a perm. I never heard of this before. The sides of my hair are straight while the rest is a mixture of straight and curly hair. The straight sections sit on top of curls, so it can't be blended in and hidden. Other parts are frizzy because she used the tiniest perm rods. And she always had my chair turned so i couldn't...
