If i could do no stars I would. The manager here is horrible!!!!! My daughter worked here and she was a hard worker. She came home upset every day because he yells at the young girls. He only hires young kids he can yell at. He also doesn't pay them right, he keeps their tips. I went in to let him know my daughter isn't working there anymore (because she was too scared to get yelled at), and he tried to yell and get snippy with me too. My daughter said he would yell at her in front of customers. If you hear him yelling at these girls please stand up for them because they want to make money, but don't deserve to be treated this way.
EDIT TO REPLY: as far as tips I was not referring to my daughter. I was referring to other employees who reported being ripped off at the end of the night. They would know the tips and the way they were getting split and end up with $7-$8 at the end of the night. As far as my daughter calling off, she called one time when she was sick. Other than that she let the manager know in advance that she could not work because she was going out of town on the weekend and then to a church camp another weekend. She is still a student. The manager hired her knowing she couldn't come in until 415 on weekdays due to getting home from school. He still called her telling her she was late. He yelled at her when she told him she couldn't work a weekend because we as her parents paid for a church camp. He told her she can't change his schedule. In advance she can adjust her schedule. And yes my daughter did make a mistake on an order which happens in every work place. The order was corrected and the customer got their food and your business took that money from my daughters check. Orders get messed up all the time at other restaurants but it's not taken from the employees checks because mistakes happen. The manager got mad at my daughter for telling him to stop yelling at her and he made her clean the bathrooms, sweep and mop the floors, and bus the tables almost every shift as punishment. There were other employees but she did the cleaning duties most of the time. She was yelled at on 3 occasions infront of customers. Those customers felt so bad that they seeked her out, outside of work and tipped her the money she deserved for dealing with the harsh work environment. My daughter is very responsible, hints why she took the harsh work environment longer than what she should have. The other staff tells people about the work conditions as well, they won't tell managers so they can keep their jobs. Thankfully my daughter already got rehired somewhere that treats their staff like humans and not like slaves. If the owner would like to have an in person adult conversation we can do that, because when I tried with the manager yesterday, he tried to get loud with me and blame my daughter instead of trying to seek understanding. He even threw the food across the kitchen, super unprofessional. He is a horrible manager and a...

What the hell happened to this place? I went here a few days ago for my Birthday with my family, and everything was wrong.
They no longer make Boba Tea No Kimbop No Fish cake for Ban Chan Potato Pancake dipping sauce no longer had the red flakes and the green onions, just the sauce. The spicy chicken was literally just spicy paste sautéed into chicken and was inedible, it was so spicy. I have eaten it for years and it used to taste spicy and slightly sweet with sesame seeds. Look at the original photo that I posted next to some Teriyaki Chicken and then look at the new photo. The normal employees were nowhere to be found. There was only 1 older Korean lady and it wasn't terribly busy but she made multiple mistakes. The Teriyaki Chicken was still good.
It was giving me the sense of a restaurant that is on the brink of shutting down. It was an absolutely terrible experience and it will be a while before I give them another chance!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: A solid 4.2-stars, Just shy of 5-stars
I have been coming here for many years now since they opened up. I have probably eaten here 20-25 times both alone as well as with my family. The food has always been pretty consistent and delicious. Our favorite items are the Teriyaki Chicken, the Spicy Chicken, the Potato Pancake and the Kimbop. They are always delicious with an on-occasion issue with the Potato Pancake being a little undercooked. The Ban Chan(sides) are good. The Coconut Boba Tea is delicious.
I have almost always had good service here with the occasional mishap or new employee that ended up not being there for long.
The Atmosphere of the restaurant is fine and relatively spacious.
Why not 5-stars? A couple reasons. As another review stated, the tables for the booths are in need of serious repairs and probably replacement. You could easily spill your drink if you are not careful. I do not recommend to-go orders. The portion sizes are smaller than when you eat in. Again with to-go orders. The Ban Chan sides are pre made and stacked in to-go boxes that are ready for them to grab from a pile of them as needed. The items dry out from this. They sit on a rack in the hallway. One time I ordered dinner entrees to-go and when I got home, I opened the Ban Chan box and there was literally 3 small flies in there.
Overall, I recommend Korean Garden but would warn others for the reasons...
Read more07/21/21 Since Mrs. Kim departed the facility I have been there a total of 3 times in the last 8 or 9 months and had issues EVERYTIME!!!! 1st time my order was wrong, 2nd time my food was cold and WRONG AGAIN, 3rd time the NEW lady argued with me telling me my order had NEVER been made at that facility the way I requested it. I tried telling her I had been coming there for YEARS but she still insisted they NEVER made the order the way I wanted it. Then she started talking about past employees and that they were running the facility WRONG!! Well if wrong was the issue then they should have relooked their PROCEDURES because wrong was satisfying customers AND bringing in new ones!!! She complained that drinks were given for free to customers while they waited for food. I worked in the food industry and I know FOR A FACT those drinks DO NOT COST $2.89 each. Each shot of syrup for 1 since drink is approx. .50 cents so they are making approx. 500% profit on just 1 drink. Lets look at this from an approx. point. IF I DO NOT GIVE a free drink I make $300 an hour putting profit before customer service. IF I GIVE a free drink while waiting and put customer service OVER profit I make $400 an hour plus future customer potential. Which one makes sense. Their was more and I can go on but I will just say they just LOST at least 3 valued customer. We will NEVER retuyrn.
Great service. Friendly staff. Got my special order right and the owner remembers her customers when...
