Into Nails spa — Local services in Fountain

Waited a week to write this review just so that I can calm down & have enough time to write this. This place is truly horrible. It is so bad, it’s incredible.

I went there last Saturday, 8/19/23 for a mani/pedi. Before I went there, I called to book an appointment. Before the call ended, I asked if the $75 they have online is what I’m going to pay & hope there were no hidden charges. 3 times I asked, 3 times the female on the other end pretended like she couldn’t hear me. I ended the call with “ok, I’ll see you at 5pm” & shockingly, that part she heard.

I got there & what do you know, that $75 online is for a basic mani-pedi & it’s not even $75 anymore but now $85 as they have not “updated their website yet with the price change”. The creature they assigned to me was so rude. I call it a creature cos I refrain to think that anyone who has a job that’s contingent on tips & repeat customers, will treat anyone much less a new customer that way. It would roll its eyes, talk with its boss instead of addressing me & was extremely rude. At a point I had to ask if it wanted me to leave.

I asked if they we’re going going to honor the price online & they flat-out told me “no”. The price was never really the issue. For me, it is the lie they have online that bothered me.

I was desperate & decided to get my nails done. I’m new to the state/area & didn’t want to start looking for somewhere else so late in the day. I asked the “boss” person in the presence of the creature that was assigned to me if anyone else was available to work on me. She said yes, & swapped it out.

They assigned Jin to me, who did a fantastic job on my toes especially since I suffer from ingrown toenails. Jin couldn’t do my mani so some other creature was assigned to take care of my finger nails. She seemed so uninterested in the task. She came, looked at my nails, left me for another maybe 10 minutes. She was doing nothing but just standing around & I had to ask Jin if there’s no one coming to do my fingernails. She motioned to this creature & said she’s the one to do it. About 10seconds later, the initial rude creature from the beginning of this story went to the area where the second rude creature was & they said stuff in their language while looking at me & both laughed. I took it all in good stride.

While the second rude creature was doing my nails for me, it was pretending to care by asking random unnecessary questions. I gave it simple answers just needing it to be done with my nails already. It was also making weird faces while working on me. I don’t know if it’s an illness that was causing it to do that or...

Before Jin left, I asked if they split tips there & she said no. That made me ecstatic. When I went to pay, I made sure to leave a generous tip for only Jin. Good thing is that they put the names of the people that work on you on the receipt for tips. I put a big zero beside the name of the other creature. I think its name is “kim”.

I left home that day thinking I was going to get a mani-pedi for $75. Ended up spending $150 there.

Nothing at this place is right. I would call them criminals. The way they up-charge for services is the most ridiculous thing ever. Wish I had read reviews online before having to endure all of this nonsense there.

Avoid this place completely. For those who have had a good experience there, good for you. I didn’t & in-fact my experience was so bad, that I have spent the last 20 minutes typing about it so I can save someone out there from this rubbish.

I hope that if they read this review, they’ll remember exactly who I am. But then again, what do I care… I’ll never ever go...

PLEASE LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS! THERE NOT WRONG!!!

On Friday the 7th me and my daughter came in and got our nail and she got pedicure as well. My daughter lives in Denver she got married on February 14th in Denver but the 24th her nails were almost coming off and they where do badly done! Mine were badly done as well. Called and talked to someone that answer the phone explaining the issue that my daughter just got married yesterday and will be gone on her honeymoon and won't be back to fix them. She explained that they have a mo refund policy and I asked if she can get them redone at a different time or any compensation for the troubles she said nope! I have only a video the picture our screenshots of the video... It's so sad that the markup on the price of nails vs the actually price of that it takes to do them is crazy and they can help for the inconvenience of the importance of there services and that it can make it brake a situation and they can't show any empathy by giving me a discount or redoing the nails I'm not asking for a refund very sad because of this I will not be returning and will tell everyone I know not to visit!

Update on review 03/21/25 On several occasions I had called back was told to call and talk to Lydia talked to Lydia when I finally reached to her after multiple calls either she was busy or at lunch or something or another. Said I'm calling in response Her reply to my review! And as the review stated Lydia please give us a call and we can work something out that is a lie and misleading. They make those statement thinking that we don't see if they fixed the problem or not. Soooo it some what looks like there doing there part but they are not. I again state that my daughter is getting married her nails were done for her wedding she's going on her honeymoon she doesn't live in Colorado Springs to refresh her memory. She said yeah if you would've came back within 3 days we would have fixed the problem??????? She was just like oh I can't help you out... What!!!! That was her solution to...

If you’re looking for a clean, nonjudgmental, and relaxing atmosphere this nail salon is not for you. Let me start by saying the front desk lady was as kind as can be. However, “Ann” that did my nails made it this the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon.

First, she was upset because I didn’t want gel nails or a manicure. I had nothing for her to “manicure”. My cuticles were already clipped and my nails filed down to the core as I keep my nails groomed weekly. When I denied the gel nails she informed me it would “look like trash”. Well, it sure does look like trash. Not only did she hurt me multiple times but she also got upset because I asked her to place a napkin down before forcing her hand on top on mine to put my hand down on a table that was covered in someone else’s cuticles and nail filing dust. I’m talking rolling of the eyes, a huff, and she clipped HALF of a paper towel to please my request. Not THAT big of a deal to some, but she also had very dirty nails herself and she used her nails to fix mine which I got very grossed out by it. Isn’t there tools for picking under and around nails? Not only did my nails come out different sizes and shapes but the paint wasn’t even to the cuticle line and it looks like they’re already “grown out” because of the gap.

Here’s the worst part: She continued to talk about me to the worker beside her AND the clients around. Little did she know my mom was right next to her listening to them. She continued to do this when I walked to wash my hands, and then after when I walked two feet to the dryer from where she was sitting.

My mom only travels to see me a few times a year, so I was doing what I could to “just let it go” and enjoy time with her.

I will NOT be back and whenever I see someone request recommendations I will be sure to let them know...
