Was great, but AWFUL manager Meiline (not sure of spelling). They did nothing after I was robbed of $100 bill and a brand new stick on self wallet for a cell phone. I found it outside and made huge mistake of handing it to Michaela don't know how to spell her name either just awful employee that most of the other employees hated because she was rude to them and customers and very dishonest I thought the law was that I had to have them hold it for 30 days and then it would be my ex I found it outside but apparently it was instantly mine cuz I was outside and they don't own the patio area. they can see plenty from the inside cameras apparently none outside which I was surprised about and knew that everything I said was true . I spoke to employees that used to work there and they knew for a fact that management knew that I had been robbed because I asked that girl Michaela to please put it with a manager in the office and lock it up. instead that low life just honestly shoved it in her pocket and left with it and kept it and then pretended it never happened. at first they told me that I had to send an email I couldn't just call corporate to get it back even though they had cameras they said I had to do it that way which was false. They knew my cell phone emails etc we're not working and by the time I got a new phone I said oh now you can call but my photos had Frozen up. That bad manager started legally harassing me and then had the nurse to blame me whenever I got sick when they got me sick and it might have even been cold but I don't know. I healed from it but it took me 2 months I think November and December of last year when everyone there was sick it was horrible. their employees and customers were walking around coughing and sneezing and everything else and they refused to let their employees go home sick which excaverated do the problem. I spoke with corporate they apologize profusely but they've done nothing because then the whole corpus situation is and I haven't heard a word and have to call them back.. I am permanently disabled and write a manager actually committed a felony misdemeanor third degree by illegally harassing me and illegally harassing my service animal. I hope they fired her I said we're looking into because that's what she deserves and they only stole $100 of brand new stick on wall if it was never used and an apology. When I first saw the folded bill inside the wallet when the low-life thief opened it I couldn't understand why the one was so tiny but looked online and saw it was $100 bill because that $1 bills the number one is very large and it was folded in such a way that I only saw the corner and as her eyes get big and she knew what it was and that's why she stole it from me. When I asked her about a week later in front of team managers if she heard that about the wallet described I didn't detail she said oh I like she had forgotten all about it she hadn't heard anything whatever but everything she said the managers both dropped the jaws and shocked because they didn't I was talking about but they knew that she did and she literally confirmed that everything I said was true right there so yeah I forgot about that I like slipped her mind really slipped her mind no really she spent it already she's total scum and I heard that she was taking money from some guy who needs a green card to live in America he's from Australia. I pity that guy that he's so desperate that he would pay this that rotten young woman to marry him just so he can stay in America, which by the way is still a major crime. She's a bad mother too, told....and saw... has a small child but never married just got pregnant young and handed her kid over to her mother who pays all the bills and takes care of him for her. Thankfully the kid has a grandmother that loves him that is responsible and make sure he gets fed and gets clothes, love, and takes to School etc. The thief quit just short of the 30 days I I told her I thought they had to hold on to the found item for me just in case, I'M...
Read moreThey change the layout every other week, so you can’t find what you’re looking for in the bookstore, and what I assume is the new manager at Joe’s cafe does not seem to care about anything or at least specific people, as she said they were sold out of some of the products they sell and always have, seems like se didn’t want to work and bake them, as her attitude towards me while waiting in line was something akin to “ugh this guy, can’t he just leave?” and “why do I have to take care of this guy? This is so annoying”. It’s a wonder how this place has stayed a-flout with all the changes they constantly make to the bookshelves, and their pickiness in customers, the lack of popular food products, and the attitude of some of the older staff members. I expect they’ll go out of business in half a year, specially once people remember to cancel their...
Read moreYesterday I needed to catch up on homework so I stopped by Books A Million to have a coffee and get the work done. While I was there, the table next to me had an older lady, who clearly needed a break from her Medicare problems. This poor lady kept getting disconnected and calling over and over, to get medications she needed for her health. I even over heard her state she couldn't afford all the opioids nor did she want them. She also stated she was living out of her car. Steven the barista at joes came to her, on what I'm assuming was his lunch break, and offered to get her dinner from target. She respectfully declined and he may know her well but from my eye kindness is everything. To see a simple act of kindness in the world we live in today, gives me hope for tomorrow. I'll most certainly come back for a cup of joe, books...
