Yesterday, I had an incredible experience at the store, starting with the attention I received from the first employee I interacted with, Jorge. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed about choosing my Oura Ring Gen 4āI had a lot of questions, and Jorge kindly approached me when he noticed my uncertainty. He answered all of my questions with patience and clarity.
Beyond that, he took the time to explain many features and benefits of the Target app that I wasnāt even aware of. I was there with my mother, who also had questions about another item. Sheās 60 years old and doesnāt speak English very well, but this wasnāt an obstacle for Jorge, who speaks both English and Spanish. He was able to assist both of us with great care and professionalism.
Jorge was not only kind and approachable but also extremely knowledgeable about the products and store benefitsāhis guidance convinced me to buy the Oura Ring right then and there. However, when he scanned my rewards barcode, there seemed to be an issue with the app not reading it correctly. He suggested I visit the customer service area for further help.
There, I was assisted first by Islam, a very courteous young man who patiently listened to my situation and worked to find the best solution so I wouldnāt lose my points and rewards for the purchase. In his efforts to resolve the issue efficiently, he consulted with his colleague Ajala, who was incredibly dedicated in helping verify what could be done, as the system wasnāt allowing them to apply my rewards.
Despite the store being busy at the time, they both took the time to assist me thoroughly. They never made me feel like my issue was a burden or insignificantāinstead, they made me feel valued and important. In the end, they helped me recover my rewards and explained the process with technical knowledge and care.
I truly believe all stores should have employees like Jorge, Islam, and Ajalaābilingual, knowledgeable, attentive, kind, and technically skilled not only in store systems but also in product knowledge. They made my customer experience extraordinary.
I originally went to the store just to buy milkābut I ended up buying an Oura Ring, and I left feeling extremely satisfied with both the attention I received and the resolution of my issue. Thank you, Target, for having such qualified and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI feel very disappointed in this place I almost never go there and I like to shop but I definitely had an unpleasant afternoon today when I was checking the Lego area because I like to compare prices and a Security Guard came as if he were a thief or something like that and it made me uncomfortable because I was simply there checking prices and I like to take my time to do this and I felt like he was harassing me as if I was going to steal something and the guy was going back and forth watching me. little man is not a professional he does not know how to do his job they should think very well about that and be very careful with people and not make mistakes, that is why they have security cameras and if they are going to watch someone they should do it without people getting caught feel harassed, I am a worker and a very honest person and the least I am going to do when going to a place like this is to do something this embarrassing, they should pay more attention to these things because it makes people uncomfortable and I couldn't I kept looking more because I felt harassed, I had never felt like that, if it were a thief they would have been robbed by now, but honest people are treated as if we were thieves. That Security man who was there today, Sunday, is a harasser, he should not work there anymore, I can sue him for harassing and invading my space for no reason, he should be more professional and more cautious, when I saw him standing there it made me feel very bad and I couldn't continue looking at anything else, such poor and terrible surveillance, they should take this seriously, since this is harassment. I understand that there must be surveillance but they have to be more professional without making people feel bad, the truth is I DO NOT recommend the public to go to this place, Best buy is a thousand times better and its surveillance system is very professional, I feel safer and like with the people at Best Buy, but the security guards at Target are absolutely useless. I hope the General Manager reads this because I can sue them for something...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLast week I bought a box of Baseball cards as a gesture for my brotherā¦.. (I have bought a similar box myself of basketball, at a different target, about a year ago, I never opened it and decided one day I was going to return it, I learned that day, that you canāt return them at Target. No problem.) ā¦. So Last week before I even pay for them I go to customer service and ask the Customer service staff politely āI know you canāt return sports cards at Target, but if itās still unopened and itās the wrong box for my brother. Am I able to?ā She insisted straight away no problem. I replied āare you sure I have been through this before.ā āAs long as the plastic hasnāt been opened you can return it sirā So I go ahead and pay the $60 for it.. I see on the receipt it says in RED NON RETURNABLE !? so I go back to Customer service and show her the receipt , it was at that point she went and got another Employee and asked her the same question. Second Employee also insisted āits ok aslong as you have the reciept and itās not opened, you can return itā
.. so of course I trusted them. Well today i drove all the way back to return them and thereās nothing anybody can do for me š š”š”
I expected a lot better from Target. To at least accept accountability on their part, especially after I really made it clear before I left the store with the product. Had I have known, taking the chance I was (not knowing which edition he collected) I wouldnāt never gotten them.
Shopped at Target for 20+ years but that definitely has changed my mind on where I will stop next time.
PS Selling a box of MLB sports cards for $60 if...
