United Co-op - Franklin — Local services in Franklin

Well. Usually I am buying dog food from co-op in Columbia. In occasion in Franklin. My last bag of dog food Yukon river by Victor had bugs in it. Contact staff. Lady was nice and she asked me to bring the left of the food and the bonus bugs in to the store. I came and the manager didn’t even came out to talk to me. Just pass the information that nothing they can do about it. Offer me a discount on next bag. I didn’t feel like the dog food with bugs will be better if will discounted. I passed on the offer. In my opinion it was very bad customer service. The manager should be a always an example for others who works there. I was hoping they will at least contact victor company. Didn’t expect impossible from them. Well, lesson learned. Last time spent any money there.

*in response to you’re reply. The girl who I was speaking with was the only girl working at the back counter. She spoke with me over the phone and in the store. In the store she said she spoke to you and the proposal from you (in the back room) was to discount a new bag. I could care less about the discount, the point was I was just trying to let you know one of the bags had worms in it. (Which I left for you in a bag) which as a manager I would assume you would be interested at looking at the shipping order and let them know that you received a bad batch of food. Not ignore it and push another bag.

Again two seconds of time to just talk with me would have been great instead of sitting in a back room. I was not looking for a discount I was simply looking to bring an issue to your attention.

This is more like a competing national brand supply and feed and farming oriented shop. It is a co-op as it is farmer owned It is now owned by United farm & home co-op The website for the new owners is Unitedfhcoop.com

They need to change their agreement for returns to not say you can return to any co-op store because if they don't sell that particular brand of blue jeans then they won't take them back which is a crock so I would advise them to change the wording on their sales receipt. I would rate them lower than a one if I could. It's a misrepresentation of what they say on their sales receipt so make sure they sell what you're taking back at that particular Co-op. Other than that I found this a very nice store but...
