The Franklin Factory had this little gem inside. We had a veggie bowl with added tofu and cauliflower. It was excellent on a cold damp day. Lots of veggies, in a rich broth with a pot sticker type dumpling on top. Seat neighbors next us had the beef looking bowls that they said was wonderful. We ordered a side of veggie dumplings, and they did not disappoint. The sauce looks hot, but it wasn’t, just a lot of oil. We were pleasantly surprised such a unique restaurant would be in the Factory, and I’m glad we tried it. The line was very long. There weren’t any tables or seating available inside their area; hence, the 4 star instead of the 5 for atmosphere. Also, it seemed like tables turned over rather quickly, but they weren’t keeping up with cleaning the tables. It was self bussing, so many people left messes. All in all, it didn’t worry us. The food was terrific, and we...

I stopped by with my family and asked a simple question before ordering — whether any dishes could accommodate my 3-year-old’s sesame and egg allergies. The staff member was immediately rude, told us we “shouldn’t eat here at all,” and refused to even show me their allergen menu.

When I got home, I checked their website and found their official allergen sheet, which clearly shows that a few items — like the Kids Chicken Ramen (no sesame or egg) and even the Kids Rice Bowl (with minor modifications) — could have been safe options. That makes it clear the staff member just didn’t want to deal with us.

For a restaurant that advertises allergy transparency online, this kind of dismissive in-person experience is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone, especially families dealing with...

I was so excited to try this new ramen restaurant. I won’t be going back. I just paid $27.44 for a simple bowl. I’m gluten free and was charged $5 extra for GF noodles. I ordered chicken and veggies, it was basic!! Nothing fancy and it was just me… no drinks, no extra sides… $27.44!!! The bowl was ok, but somewhat greasy, it had a tiny bit of chicken and really not that many veggies…. not worth it. The only redeeming factor was good service at the ordering counter. However, I tried to call to see if my order was even entered correctly and they have a virtual assistant… you can’t even talk to anyone. I want at least a partial refund for this. I do not recommend this restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere better.

I love good Ramen. Otaku makes good ramen. This location is in the factory at franklin and it's a nice bright space, situated in the main "room" I got the classic with pork belly done shoyu style - soy based, deeper broth with that umami you're looking for. Foods good but price is astronomical for what you get. 2 slices of pork belly over noodles and broth. Hook us up - more pork belly and noodles would have made it reasonable. Here's the Breakdown: Great food +1 star; friendly staff +1 star; bright and clean +1 star; quality ingredients +1 star. I will go back just because Ramen but it will be very infrequent unless portion to price is corrected.
