Stay away from these scammers. I applied for an Acima LEASE. Was approved and leased a 21inch rope chain. I ordered a cross pendant and when it came in I decided I did not want it as it was small and of poor quality. They tried telling me I “had to take the merchandise because once you order it you are obligated to take it. I never picked it up and leased the necklace. A week later, Acima called and said that they are charging me for both pieces. When I called the manager she was belligerent and said I am not allowed to return the merchandise because that is their policy. Further, she instructed me to call the DM. After speaking with the DM, he assured me that the pendant is returnable and that they would make amends to the Acima lease. After 5 days Acima called and said they never received the return receipt email from Elite. I was livid. I called Elite and asked to have the updated lease sent over ASAP for just the necklace. They never did and so I returned the necklace. When I arrived, the manger was rude, ignorant annd unwilling to help, and said It was not allowed to return the necklace as I “bought” it. Let’s stop here for a second. What does LEASE mean? Hmmmm..So, she further proceeded to say I needed to drive to Warrenton to return this necklace as she can’t accept returns. They are awful. My husband and I want to give appreciation to Elite Jewelers in Spotsylvania, VA and especially Mona, their store manager, who worked patiently with us to recreate the beautiful and unique wedding ring that was lost during our travels. The ring had been purchased through Elite Jewelers and was a one-of-a-kind setting that we absolutely loved. They agreed they could try to replicate the ring from a photograph. Mona patiently worked with us, and with their creative designers, to present us with a replacement ring, that turned out absolutely beautiful! What an amazing experience! We stopped in the mall just to browse the jewelry stores without any clue what we were actually going to buy. As we walked into elite jewelers a beautiful ring caught my eye. Duncan was very patient and attentive with us. We weren’t sure what other stores had to offer so we browsed for about an hour and nothing else caught my eye like this beautiful ring did. Upon returning, Sadaf let me try on a bracelet and necklace that I was also interested in. She was very helpful and gave me her honest opinion on how each item looked on me. We ended up buying the ring and they gained a customer for life!
