Shawarma house — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

My wife and I went to Shawarma House tonight for dinner after shopping at Costco. We’ve been wanting to try this place since we heard about it a few weeks ago, and we are very glad we did.

My wife is Arab and I have been lucky enough to have been shown what quality Arab food tastes like - Shawarma House was definitely quality! We got a beef/lamb shawarma, chicken shawarma, hummus bowl, and a side of falafel. The hummus was great and the presentation was great considering you are eating in a food court, I’ve seen worse presentation of food at sit down joints. The bread that came with the hummus bowl (comes with two pieces) and that the shawarma sandwiches are made out of is FANTASTIC! Super fluffy and soft and absolutely delicious. Falafel was served freshly fried. All of the toppings we got for the shawarma’s were fresh and worked perfectly in the sandwich.

So the Spotsy mall might be headed down Hill with JCPenney and others barely hanging on - but the Shawarma House could keep this entire mall alive, possibly all of Fredericksburg. Way too good to be in a mall food court. We had the chicken Shawarma bowl with falafel side. We have had Shawarma before this is the best we’ve ever had. Ingredients are very fresh. Flavor is unimaginable - topped off with the last piece of Dubai chocolate cake that they had behind the counter. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing it was.
