Express — Local services in Freehold Township

I first want to say I love the quality of clothes at this store. Upon entering the store we witnessed a Manager & sales associate discussing a customer situation right out loud in front of us. Not even a "hello" or welcome, they continued to chat about this customer. So, we went on to shop. Grabbing some items, went into the fitting room, deciding what to purchase we headed over to checkout, my daughter was with me, she wanted to put some clothes on hold; as I was purchasing. So we get up to register, & the sales associate was just short n rude to me. Which isn't what bothered me, its how she treated my daughter. My daughter handed her the clothes & shoes & said I would like to put these on hold, (Sam-sales associate) took the clothes turned around and literally threw them behind the counter. And said next customer. Saying nothing else to us. Umm, excuse me I said don't you need a name; and how long are they on-hold ? She proceeded to answer me 24 hours. Really cannot believe how rude she was to us. I will not go back to that particular location, it seems the employees need to be reminded about...

Do NOT shop at Express, Freehold NJ location. Save your time and money elsewhere. There is a worker who is very rude and condescending to customers. When asked about fitting room? She replies : “there is no fitting room because 6 people called in today and we can’t take care of it for people like yourself. Can buy and return in 60 days”. That was her response. It is not my fault workers did not show up and very unnecessary to say all that nonsense to a customer. I almost felt racially profiled when her saying “yourself” like if no one else tries clothes on before shopping. Rude people and shame on them. I left their clothes unfolded and messy on top of other pile. Can’t believe she said such thing to me! Run away do...

Express is the main store I get all my clothes. I usually love shopping here. However, this is the worst experience I’ve had with the company. The store is unorganized, and the staff was INCREDIBLY rude. One employee was loudly complaining to a customer that she “hates everyone who shops here.” She was going on about how nasty the customers are. She then yelled at myself and other customers because we were on the wrong line even though we had no idea we had to go to the men’s side at a small pop up checkout station. I’ve never even written a review on anything before, but I was so unhappy with the service. The woman online behind me even said something to me about how awful this store was. We will both stay...
