The owner actually called me from Greece. Listened to my side and without question refunded ALL of the money spent. Sent me to meet Lucas. He was awesome. Apologized for actions that we’re not his. Asked how can they regain my trust and business and quite honestly just by the way it was handled they did. Lucas is a valuable asset to this company as a representative. Brett. The owner. Thank you for reaching out and making it right as quickly as world travel time allowed.
My 13 year old...I repeat 13 year old. went to the freehold mall store. Asked to have the back fixed. They took her phone said come back in a bit. When she went back they told her they had to fix the front and the camera. Told her 198.00. 48 hours later the face does not work. I took her back. Questioned the repair. Guy says 120.00 to replace the front. I disagreed.... He says let me look. Came back in 20 minutes, He presents me with a broken face. Says it is all loose. I argue. He says I'll replace it under warranty, never asked me for receipt or proof of purchase...Odd. Then 24 hours later...Guess what... Face does not work. Go back...Ask for a refund. HE says boss is in Greece. No way to reach him.. Leave me a phone....Not.... Go downstairs to another repair place. They open the phone,,,NO SCREWS holding it together. They check the screen USED and DEFECTIVE. They replace the face...75.00. Order me replacement screws. I go back to Talk n Fix. He says he reached out to boss...Only way in Greece is Facebook messenger.....Will not refund my money....Tells me the screws were not in when he replaced the face and he told me....NOT Tells me can't help.... I filed a complaint with Freehold PD Preying on a minor ....and Mall Management failure to provide me the name of a supervisor or manager, Rudest person I ever met....And...
Read moreI brought in a perfectly working iPad that had a crack on the screen. They seemed very nice and told me they would order the glass and call me when the unit was repaired. I left the iPad and went home. I received a call from one of the repair man the same day and he told me that he scratched the main mother screen that lies underneath the main top glass. It would be a small permanent mark on the screen. Since he was so transparent with me I decided to let that go and have him replace the glass and not worry about that small blemish that would be on the screen all the time. I then received another call two days later and they told me they needed to order a different glass because what they had installed was not working. I then received a call a couple of days after that and they told me that iPad is not working properly and there was nothing they can do. When I came to pick up the iPad I asked the owner what type of compensation I would be getting for bringing in a perfectly good iPad and walking away with an iPad that did not work. He told me there's nothing he can do. I asked if I can get a store credit and he said no. So basically if you bring anything to the store and by accident they break your item they will not be held responsible in anyway shape or form to take care of their customers. Initially, I paid a total of $213.40 for the replacement, with the assurance that the new backing would consist of authentic Apple glass and function as new. However, after only FOUR MONTHS, the back screen cracked due to a minor fall from my bed onto a carpeted surface. Upon contacting the company, I was informed that, as a previous customer, I would be charged $50 plus tax to replace the screen.
Disappointingly, 31 DAYS later, my phone's backing broke AGAIN, this time falling from my desk. They denied me any reimbursement or complimentary replacement as it broke ONE DAY past the 30 day warranty. It is important to note that during both incidents, my iPhone was securely encased in a highly protective cover.
There is a reason why the warranty is only 30 days!!! 🚩🚩🚩 Do not put your hard earned money into a company that cannot back the quality of their products for the long run. I strongly recommend professional repairs conducted by Apple themselves. Although the initial cost may be higher, it will save you money in the long run, as you can avoid the recurring repair fees from this...
